Join us for a FREE Health Starts Here cooking class, taught by Whole Foods Market chef Anna Mentzer, teaching three dishes that make a perfect meal that is fast, easy, and delicious. Health Starts Here means eating foods that support wellness by focusing on the four pillars of healthy eating: Whole Foods, Nutrient Dense, Plant-Strong and Healthy Fats. The three dishes show a great way to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all simple but healthy meals. This class will teach you how to cook for your family so they can fill up on whole wheat and grains that are delicious, but also support health and wellness goals.
Our chef Anna graduated from Le Cordon Bleu, and has spent the last several years exploring a variety of food service from private course instruction to catering and banquets. She is currently an instructor in the Culinary Department at the Art Institute of Tucson, teaching a variety of both kitchen lab and lecture courses, such as Basic Culinary Technique, World Cusines, American Regional Cusines, etc. A couple years ago we were fortunate to have Anna join our Whole Foods Market prepared foods department. During her time at Whole Foods Market she has embraced an expansion of her Culinary knowledge beyond French Cuisine to also educate on Plant Strong, Healthy Eating, and Natural Foods.
