Join our friend, Colleen, as she takes us through a delicious journey with fresh ice cream that everyone can enjoy! Colleen is a raw food chef and teacher and leads classes educating people about the SAD diet (standard American diet). Many of you will remember Colleen from our incredibly delicious Cinco de Mayo raw food class! This time out, she'll be making:
- strawberry ice cream made in a blender, using coconut milk, fresh strawberries, and coconut nectar.
- basic vanilla in an ice cream maker (a blender is also needed) using whole milk, sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla. This can also be made as chocolate or vegan.
- frozen fruit and yogurt ice cream using frozen fruit, whole yogurt or vegan (coconut), vanilla stevia, and lemon juice in a food processor
- frozen fruit sorbet in a blender.
