In this demonstration class attendees will learn the essentials of making fruit chutneys and learn how to safely water bath can them to enjoy homemade, seasonal preserves year-round. Chutney is a versatile sauce that can be enjoyed with appetizers or incorporated into dishes, recognizable by it’s savory and sweet composition. Kate will make pear chutney and also offer up ideas for other fruits and ways to use your chutneys in delicious ways.
