Ms. Butterbeans continues her tradition of inspiring kids in the kitchen with this class featuring Italian Food. Using the freshest organic ingredients, students will learn how to make Ricotta Cheese from scratch and flavor it with fresh lemon. We will also make a batch of pasta dough, roll it through the pasta machine to make sheet pasta and stuff it with the lemon ricotta. We will then make a quick tomato sauce to serve over the ravioli. One student who took this class said, “This is the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth!” This is tasty skill focused class is hands-on and includes foundations in kitchen safety, cooking techniques, and proper knife skills.
