A day to celebrate the Whole Planet Foundation and the work to provide microcredit in 55 countries worldwide where Whole Foods Market sources products. This fun filled day will include:
10am-12pm Kids’ "Carnival" featuring games and crafts for children such as mask making
12pm-2pm: Taste Around the Globe featuring samples of dishes which are inspired by Whole Planet Foundation microcredit partner recipes.(such as Kenyan corn and bean stew and a Moroccan infused couscous and vegetable dish.) What's more--we'll event have live African drumming in the store during this 12pm-2pm timeframe!
2pm-4pm: How To’s showcasing "how to" stations walking you through how to make your own truffles and make your own room spray with essential oils.
