Tofu and Bonito Appetizer

This appetizer comes together in a flash. To change up the flavors, serve over mixed baby greens or baby arugula instead of spinach.

    Ingredients: 
    • 1 (12.3 ounce) package firm silken tofu
    • 1 cup baby spinach leaves, washed and dried
    • 1/4 cup bonito flakes
    • 1 teaspoon soy sauce or tamari
    • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
    • 1 scallion, thinly sliced

    Method: 

    Remove tofu from package and cut into 6 slices. Spread spinach leaves on a serving platter. Place tofu on top of spinach. Sprinkle bonito flakes over tofu and drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil to taste. Garnish with scallion.
