Tofu and Bonito Appetizer

Serves 4 to 6
This appetizer comes together in a flash. To change up the flavors, serve over mixed baby greens or baby arugula instead of spinach.
Ingredients: 
  • 1 package firm silken tofu, drained
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • 1/4 cup bonito flakes
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced

Method: 
Arrange spinach on a serving platter. Cut tofu into 6 slices, and arrange tofu on top of spinach. Sprinkle bonito flakes over tofu and drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil. Garnish with scallion.
