It doesn't get more classic than shrimp cocktail with a horseradish and lemon juice tomato sauce for dipping. This version is so tasty, you won't want to save it just for special occasions.
Ingredients
3/4 cup ketchup
1/4 teaspoon finely grated fresh lemon zest
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons drained, prepared horseradish
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
2 pounds tail-on, deveined cooked shrimp, chilled
Method
Combine ketchup, lemon zest, lemon juice, horseradish, and hot pepper sauce and stir well. Refrigerate until ready to serve alongside cooked shrimp.
