Smart Carb Cooking for the Holidays with Suzanne Landry

Chef Suzanne will discuss the difference between good carbs and bad; the glycemic index of carbs and explain the good and the bad of the refined gluten-free carbohydrates.   Complex carbohydrates are energizing, help lower cholesterol, regulate the system and contain just about everything we need; energy, protein, vitamins and minerals. She’ll demonstrate and sample a few delicious side dishes for the holidays - Wild Rice Stuffing; Baked Golden Squash Hotdish and Spuds and Brussels Sprouts Casserole.
