    Whole Planet Foundation Fundraiser: $5 Wine Tasting with Keepsake Wine Glass

    The Whole Planet Foundation  is a non-profit foundation established by WFM to create economic partnerships with the poor in developing-world communities that supply our stores with product.

    The Whole Planet Foundation provides microcredit -small loans-  to women in developing countries to start a business and break the poverty cycle.  The creation of this foundation directly connects Whole Foods Market customers and Team Members to the villages in developing countries that supply us with products. Would you like to help?

     

    To raise funds, we are hosting two unique tasting events for a $5. How does it work?

    Saturday, March 27th  from 1-4 p.m.

     

    Receive a full-size wine glass, yours to take home.  Peruse our numerous sample stations, receive beer or wine pours and stroll the store with glass in hand.  We will also provide hearty food pairings, more than our typical sample size portions.

    Your Health Starts Here:

    Whole Foods Market believes in promoting the Health and Wellness of our customers, team members and community through education and support.  Sign up for our free tour and let us show you hot spots to shop.

    We will highlight health-supportive foods in many different sections in the store.  It will include produce, bulk, grains, meat and seafood, dairy, prepared foods, and bakery. We will learn about ANDI scores and have a healthy snack during the tour.

    5% OF THE DAY'S SALES

    will be donated to Carpenter's Shelter, Northern Virginia's largest homeless shelter

    Carpenter's Shelter's mission is to end homelessness through services, education and advocacy.  In addition to their residential shelter, they provide daily access for up to 250 unsheltered homeless to shower, do laundry and attend to their basic needs.  Carpenter's Shelter is Northern Virginia's largest homeless shelter, and receives help from 1,000 volunteers annually.
