The Whole Foods Market Arabella Station Team Members thank you for supporting the Young Leadership Council's Where Ya Rack? Program 5% Day June 25th and raising over $4,000!

From this Community Giving 5% Day, new bicycle racks will be placed throughout the city!

Where Ya Rack? encourages cycling as an environmentally friendly and healthy transportation option with unique and secure bicycle parking throughout New Orleans. The Young Leadership Council is a non-profit, non-partisan civic association founded to develop leadership through community activities with over 1,400 volunteers ages 21 to 42 making New Orleans a better place to live, work and play.

MONTHLY PAINT & eWASTE RECYCLING WITH THE GREEN PROJECT

The Green Project and Whole Foods Market Arabella Station have partnered together to collect e-waste and paint on the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Guidelines for e-waste: The Green Project will accept electronic waste from individual households, including computers, monitors, radios, small printers, cell phones, stereos and speakers. They will not accept TVs, microwaves or other kitchen appliances.

Guidelines for paint: The Green Project will accept all latex paint in good condition, as well as limited quantities of spray paint, stain and polyurethane.
