Whole Foods Market Supports Our Community
Whole Foods Market is a company with a conscience, we believe passionately in supporting the communities we serve. A percentage of our sales are used to benefit non-profit organizations on a monthly basis.

5% DayOur Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these designated Days. Our 5% Days are planned far in advance and fall into themed categories, including Farms & Harvest, Environment, Hunger & Homelessness, and Education. If you would like to be considered for a 5% Day, please send information about your organization, along with the donation application, to the Marketing Team Leader in the appropriate store.

Thank you for helping us raise more than $59,000 for Stone Barnes Center for Food and Agriculture. The mission of Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture is to celebrate, teach, and advance community-based food production and enjoyment from farm to classroom to plate. Located in the heart of Westchester County, the Center's farm and education center serve as a vibrant public resource - a place to think about food issues, ask questions, and become involved in the production and enjoyment of local, seasonal food.
