Community Giving
At Whole Foods Market, we are active participants in our community. We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month! We strive to make a difference.
Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.
Donations
Whole Foods Market in Brentwood supports community outreach by offering various annual donations to non-profit organizations within the community. If you would like to submit a request for a food donation, gift certificate, community event or sponsorship, please complete our Donation Application and mail to: Christina Medrano, Whole Foods Market, 11737 San Vicente Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90049, or email to christina.medrano@wholefoods.com. You may also submit to the Customer Service Desk located in our store. We do not accept faxes or phone calls regarding requests. All donation requests must be received in writing at least four weeks prior to the event. Proof of charitable 501(c)3 status is required with your request. All requests are reviewed on a monthly basis and recipients will be notified as soon as possible.

for knowledge, we'd be happy to take you on a tour of our store!
Discover what makes a product "natural" as well as where our products
come from. Group tours can be arranged for school classes or support

Dr. Herbert is a local chiropractor that works with patients suffering from chronic and complex health problems. He uses nutrition, functional endocrinology, Applied Kinesiology, and chiropractic care to help his patients heal.

Join us to get your health answers from Dr. Herbert. He will provide resources on reading and understanding your lab results, so you know where you stand. He will also give nutritional and exercise tips on how to improve your blood work and your heart's health. This information will help you beat the leading cause of death in the United States and live a happy and healthy life!

Why Use Sunscreens and How They Work

Did you know more than 80% of sunscreens with an SPF of 15 or high don't protect you like they should? Are you aware of the chemicals that are in these sunscreens? Dr. Herbert will provide resources on how to find sunscreens that work and how to eliminate the chemicals that may be in your body from previous sunscreens.

How to Balance Your Blood Sugar

Did you know well balanced blood sugar can keep your heart, mind, and hormone systems all healthy? Are you looking for healthy substitutes to keep you blood sugar balanced? Dr. Herbert will provide resources on how to shop and eat to keep your blood sugar balanced. He will also provide handouts that you can use every time you go shopping to make it easy to stay healthy.
