One Million Faces Project at Whole Foods Market Broadway in March

Local photographer, Peggy Dyer, is attempting to photograph One Million Faces and she's set up at our store this month to make a big dent in that number. She's capturing fun and fabulous images and messages from our team members and customers, helping us celebrate our community.

Come and down for a free portrait, bring your friends, family, pets, favorite things, and whatever you would like to express to the world. To see the shots she's done so far, go to her photo album on facebook or her online archives to see your own photos and buy digital files.

We will hang the photos Peggy has taken at our store in the cafe for our Customer Appreciation Party, 2-6pm on Saturday April 3rd and have them up for the month of April.

Microloans are small loans - usually $200 or less - requiring no collateral or contract. They are offered to the poorest of the poor, with a focus on women, wanting to finance self-employment projects that will generate income. Whole Planet Foundation is focusing efforts on the villages and rural communities that supply our stores with products such as tropical fruit, vegetables, tea, and coffee. Giving the poor in these communities access to credit through microloans will enable them to escape the vicious cycle of poverty by allowing them to use their own energy and creativity to help themselves.
