- Celebrate Mom!
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Free, Salud! Classroom
The Saturday before Mother's Day we will be offering a free Mother's Day Brunch, Spa, and Aromatherapy Lecture. This will begin with a free brunch, including Mimosa's! Then our Whole Body Associate Team Leader, Kristina will show you how to make your very own facial using fresh produce. Our Aroma Therapy Lecture with Karen Parramore from Simplers Botanicals will begin at 1:00 p.m. At the end of the event we will have goodie-bags for all the Mama's who participate! Be sure to sign-up at Guest Services located at the Front of our store. And don't forget Mother's Day is Sunday, May 11th! - Vote for your Favorite Gluten Free Product!
Beginning the second week of May, our Bakery Team, the Horses, and our Grocery/Dairy Team, the Rhino's, will be competing against one another in a campaign for who has the best Gluten Free product. This is to promote the Gluten Free Taste Fair, which will be taking place Saturday, May 17th. The Portland Whole Foods Market, along with the Fremont and Laurelhurst locations will be participating in the Fair. But only here at the Portland store will you, get to decide which of your favorite Gluten Free products goes on sale for one week. The departments will narrow down their candidate, and the deciding vote will be cast by Thursay, May 15th, Portland's Primary. Saturday & Sunday, May 24th & 25th

Come and join us Memorial Day weekend and taste the items from our new and exciting Bistro Menu being offered in our Prepared Foods department. Full Sail Brewery will be there to pour beers complimentary to the sizzling burgers and free-range hot dogs that will be sure to make your mouth water!
