Young Chefs 2 Day Cooking Camp

Age: Middle School
Do you want to be a chef when you grow up or do you just love to cook? This camp is for you! Join Robin, Demo Specialist/Culinary Expert, for a hands-on tour of international cuisine. Students will create their own meals, learn food handling and kitchen safety, in addition to quick easy recipes for kids on the go. Registration for this 2 day camp begins August 1st at 8:00 a.m. Space is limited to the first 10 children. Students must be in or entering Middle School.

The Green World Cafe, a monthly Sarasota Green Connection event, is brought to you by Sarasota Green Marketplace and is co-sponsored by Natural Awakenings of Sarasota-Manatee in celebration of the Earth Charter. This month, Will Spate and Dr. George Carlo will discuss Electromagnetic Fields and the impact on humans. The meeting will be held in the Whole Foods Market Lifestyle Center with entrance at the corner of 1st and Lemon in downtown Sarasota and is open to the public.

Tour the Whole Body department for a variety of vendor demos. We will have numerous samples of body care and multivitamin products. Summer is here and it's time for our skin and body to be looking its best. We have one of the largest selections of all natural skin and body care, so we have something for everyone. Customers can visit the Sanre Organic Skinfood demo table and enjoy a complimentary mini facial and test their amazing new and local product line.

Calling all kids…it's time to get messy! Join us for a fun-filled, hands-on cooking class for kids ages 6-12. We'll create quick and healthy snacks great for kids on the go. Join us for a beautiful evening to raise funds for Girls Inc. of Sarasota. We will hold a wine and food tasting, silent auction and fashion show event directly in front of the store... setting the scene for a funky, urban downtown environment.
