- Farm to City: Farmer's Market

Farm to City is a Philadelphia – based program whose goal is to unite communities, families, and farmers year-round through good locally grown food. Sundays in August
- Philly PAWS Dog Wash
12:00-4:00 p.m. $5 for small dogs, $10 for large dogs
Does your dog stink? Allow volunteers from PAWS (The Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) to get down and dirty washing your dog! PAWS volunteers will scrub your pooch pretty. You say you don't have a dog? Don't worry! There will be PAWS dogs available for adoption. Dog washes are from Noon-4 pm every Sunday in August.
PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to saving the lives of Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals. Taking in nearly 30,000 animals each year, PAWS is dedicated to making Philadelphia a No Kill city where all healthy and treatable animals are guaranteed a home. Supporting PAWS helps fund lifesaving initiatives including adoption and foster care programs, spay and neuter surgeries, low-cost vaccinations, and other community-based programming, all of which help reduce and will ultimately eliminate the unnecessary killing of Philadelphia's animals. - Once again, we are pleased to team up with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This spring, purchase a special Bouquet for the Cure ($7.99) at any area Whole Foods Market store. For every bouquet purchased, Whole Foods Market will donate $1.50 to the Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure. We are also pleased to announce that this is the 10th year Whole Foods Market (Mid Atlantic Region) has sold the Bouquet for the Cure raising over $750,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
