  Peach Party

  4 - 7 pm free

  Everything is peachy keen at Whole Food Market!  We have tree-ripened peaches from Georgia and South Carolina and we want to celebrate with a party!  All of our departments will have peaches on the menu and we'll be sampling everything peaches from Bellini cocktails to peach salsa.  We will also have a Peach Pie Eating Contest and the winner will get a $50 Whole Foods Market gift card (plus a whole lotta pie!).  There will also be other giveaways throughout the party.  So come eat, drink and celebrate peaches with us at Whole Foods Market in Cary.

  5% Community Giving Day for Earth Share of North Carolina

  Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.  Please shop with us on June 30th to support Earth Share of North Carolina (ESNC); a coalition of 64 non-profit organizations working to protect and preserve the environment.  The mission of ESNC is to strengthen the capacity of these organizations by raising funds through workplace giving campaigns and educating the public about the value of protecting our natural resources.This 5% Day will support the One Environment Network (OEN) project of ESNC. OEN is a web-based resources and social network created to support employees interested in promoting and implementing green practices at work and in their daily lives.  This resource guides employees on how to establish a green team and recruit peer support for their sustainable projects.  The OEN provides an easy way for people to make a difference individually and as part of a network of green teams putting sustainable practices in place across the state.
