Bakery
Our scratch bakery greets you with a full sensory experience from the moment you walk in. You can expect the sights and smells of amazing crusty, European-style breads, a patisserie brimming with colorful works of culinary art that are (almost) too pretty to eat; buttery scones and flavorful muffins; doughnuts like you never had before, along with cookies, pound cakes, corn bread and bagels. Because so many of our bakery items go well with coffee, we have a full-service coffee bar serving our Allegro coffee as well as espresso, cappuccino and lattes. Still have a sweet tooth? On the other side of the coffee bar, you will find artisanal gourmet chocolates as well as our chocolate fountain where team members happily dip fruits, cookies and so much more to create something truly decadent. And right next to chocolates, our Gelato Bar offering sumptuously rich gelato in a cup or cone (this is no ordinary ice cream!).
Not that you need reminded but we proudly prepare all of our items from scratch with no artificial preservatives, additives, colorings or hydrogenated oils so go ahead, enjoy—guilt-free!
Cheese & Specialty
Cheeses, oh my, do we have cheeses! Over 300 different kinds from all over the world, from mild to piquant, we have them! Once you enjoy some samples and picked which ones you want to take home, meander over to our wine department but don’t feel overwhelmed by the 1800 bottles offered…we have friendly and knowledgeable team members who can help you select the right wine for your tastes, budget and menu. If beer is more your style, we have a selection of fine, crafted beers too. Be sure to visit our gourmet olive bar featuring 20 different kinds and antipasto bar full of delicacies like tapenades, capers, grilled zucchini, roasted red peppers and cippolini onions, just to name a few. If you happen to hear a grinding noise, that is our on-site coffee roaster where we roast all our Allegro beans! Sit down at one of our tables and savor a pot of French Press coffee or a pot of hot tea. While shopping our Specialty department stop and have lunch or dinner at our Trattoria, a full-service, Italian restaurant, nestled right between wine and cheese.
Floral
No matter what the calendar says, it is always the growing season in our Floral department. Be sure to take time to walk through our green house for fresh decorating ideas for your next dinner party or to simply brighten your day. Our lush offering of colorful flowers and plants are always in bloom! If you need something custom-made, just ask, we are happy to oblige!
Grocery
Clean, wide aisles with shelves full of an array of dairy and grocery choices; huge bulk foods department; on-site nut roaster; pet foods; household items; naturally delicious chocolates and candy; and the highest quality frozen foods are amongst the thousands of items housed in our Grocery department. The variety of products available will want you to linger and learn! Everything you see in our Grocery Department is made without any preservatives, additives and artificial ingredients and free of hydrogenated oils. You will find many new and flavorful products that you will add to your weekly grocery list, along with healthier versions of your conventional grocery store favorites. Visit our nut roaster for fresh roasted nuts—sweet, salty, spicy and savory options and nut butter making machines. Look for our private label brands such as 365 Everyday Value; 365 Organic Everyday Value; Whole Kids; Whole Treat; Whole Kitchen; and AFA (Authentic Food Artisan) for unsurpassed flavor and values. We have so many choices, don’t feel overwhelmed, just ask any of our Team Members for a sample, you will be glad you did.
Meat & Poultry
The days when the butcher greeted you by name, hand cut your steaks to order and wrapped them all up in white packaging are alive and well at Whole Foods Market. Your experience begins with the finest in meat and poultry: raised without added hormones, raised without antibiotics, never fed animal by-products; raised by farmers and ranchers who care about the animals and the environment in which they live. The quality and selection are unsurpassed. Coupled with our knowledgeable team members who combined have almost 100 years in the business, this is not your typical grocery store meat department. We also offer dry-aged beef and nearly 30 varieties of house-made sausages (free of nitrates, of course). Across from our fresh meat and poultry case is our Oven Ready Island where delicious chops, kabobs, burgers and roasts are perfectly seasoned, marinated or stuffed and ready for your oven or grill.
Prepared Foods
Ah, So Many Choices...So Little Time! Welcome to our Prepared Foods Department where home meal replacement and dine-in options are simply endless. The Chef’s Case is full of European sandwiches, colorful salads, grains and gourmet entrees. See something you like? Don’t be shy. Our team members love to share samples. Hand breaded haddock and fresh cut French fries are always popular at our Fish Fry station as are our Wood-fired Pizzas sold by the slice or pie. Your choices don’t’ end there…swing by our soup bar, hot bar, salad bars or carving station for deliciously prepared meats and homemade side dishes. Feel like being waited on and enjoying a glass of wine with your meal? Grab a seat at the Trattoria and relax while you savor a flavorful pasta dish and crisp salad. You won’t believe you are in a grocery store…actually, you’re not, you are at Whole Foods Market. You can even bring our culinary talents to your home or office through our Catering Department.
Produce
When you visit our store, you will immediately be enveloped by the smell of fresh fruits and vegetables and a palette of vibrant colors too beautiful to describe. Welcome to our Produce Department. Seven thousand square feet of freshness. The selection is unparalleled. On a given day, you will find over 200 organic items along with several hundred conventional. We have all of your favorites but don’t be shy about trying something new. Our Team Members will happily recommend a new fruit or vegetable for you to try. Our bulk egg department is like nothing you ever have seen in a grocery store. Locally raised eggs from various birds are sold individually. If you need something custom-made, we are happy to oblige! You won’t feel like you are at the Produce Department of a Grocery store, you will feel like you’re at the best Farmers’ Market in the world!
Seafood
Six days a week, ocean fresh seafood and fish arrive at our store. Selecting fresh seafood can overwhelm some people so let us help you. Just grab one of us (we’re easy to recognize in our orange waders) and we will gladly help you choose and prepare the right fish for your tastes. Speaking of prepared fish, our Oven-Ready Island features dozens of fresh seafood all marinated, stuffed, skewered or breaded to make meal preparation even easier. Depend on us to bring you superior seafood from the best sources around the world. Lifestyle Modification Support Group

Chef Steve, a Culinary Institute of America-trained professional chef with his own heart disease-related lifestyle modification experience involving a 70 pound weight loss and a recently completed degree in Medical Dietetics from OSU will very briefly share some of his personal experience and moderate a group discussion. This is time for people that are personally involved with a lifestyle modification to share in a confidential environment with other people trying to lose weight and control illnesses with diet. No specific diets or protocols will be discussed in detail; rather we will concentrate on obstacles and difficulties that we all share and gain hope and inspiration from each others' successes. If you are presently, have been, or are even thinking about doing a lifestyle modification to lose weight or control an illness you are welcome to come join us! The group will be moderated loosely along the lines of a 12-step program; curiosity seekers or those seeking to sell their own services/products who are not personally invited by the moderator will be politely asked to leave so that the participants can share among others like themselves.
