Community Giving

At Whole Foods Market Garden City, we are active participants in our community. We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month! We strive to make a difference.

Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to 501(c)(3) non-profit association. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

The selected organizations are promoted within the store and given the chance to share their cause with the public. This is a wonderful way to gain exposure and a little cash for these hard working folks. Call the store for further information.

Donations and Sponsorships

We are also committed to serving in our communities. Whole Foods Market contributes to a number of community events, health fairs, student groups, fundraisers and organizations throughout the year. We donate to organizations whose goals most closely reflect Whole Foods Market's mission and philosophy. Download our Donation/Sponsorship request form or pick one up at the Customer Service desk. Forms must be filled out entirely and returned to the store at least 6 weeks prior to the event. The organization's 501(c) (3) form must be attached to the request in order to be considered.
