This year we will give you the greatest value in natural and organic foods and promote healthy eating through education. This year we will seek out local producers to support our communities and environment. And, this year we will satisfy and delight each customer that comes through our doors in downtown Evanston.

Saturday, January 23rd & Sunday, January 31rst
Cross-town Chili Cook-off
12pm-3pm FREE
Saturday January 23rd, the competition get's fired up: Taste chili recipes from every department at each Whole Foods Market locations in Evanston. Your votes decide the winners from each store.
Sunday January 31, we turn up the heat: We pit each store's winner against the other. Vote at each store for the Evanston Whole Foods Market Chili champion. The cross-town winner gets bragging rights and their recipe featured at each store in February!
Wednesday, February 3rd
Recycled Valentine's Day Crafts
4pm - 5pm $5 per person
We will be repurposing and giving new life to paper and packaging that would otherwise be thrown away. Children ages 6 -15 are invited to this class, where we will be making Valentine's Day - themed crafts. We will also serve a yummy snack. Parents are welcome to stay. Please no children under six (even if not participating). Registration is required at least 24 hours in advance. Please register online.

Tantalizing Truffles with Mary McMahon!
6:30pm $10 per person
Chef Mary McMahon is back again after last year's sold out truffle class to share her secrets with us once again. A Jean Banchet winner for Rising Star and twice Jean Banchet nominee for Best Pastry chef, Mary McMahon is an expert when it comes to the art of the truffle. Foodies and Evanstonians alike remember her exquisite confections from her days as Pastry Chef of the late Trio restaurant. Mary is currently the chef at Now We're Cookin' Culinary Center in Evanston, where she instructs a variety of cooking classes. In this class, you will make your very own truffles (and eat them, of course!) as well as sip on delicious bubbly from Whole Foods Market. Registration is required at least 48 hours in advance. Story and Snack Time

Join us in the café at the front of the store every Second Tuesday of the month as Evanston Public Library presents a special story and Whole Foods Market makes a tasty treat for the little ones to snack on. Registration is not required -just meet us in the café!
Tuesday, February 16th
Vegan Dinner
6:30 pm $15 per person
Whether you're a veteran vegan or just looking to incorporate more plant-based foods into your diet, we'll show you some inventive and delicious recipes during this hands-on cooking class. All dishes in this three-course meal will include nutrient-rich ingredients, including dessert! This class is for ages 15 and up. Registration is required at least 24 hours in advance. Study Break! Team Trivia
7pm-8pm FREE
Take a break from the books and show off what you know.* Whole Foods Market Evanston North will be hosting a Team Trivia night in our café at the front of the store. Teams are limited to four people. Please arrive by 6:45 to register your team. Prizes will be given to the winning team. Don't forget to save room to snack on some Pizza while you play, just $8.99 on Wednesdays for a large 1-topping pizza!

Cookie Monsters: Pinwheel Cookies
4pm-5pm $5 per person
Join us for this monthly class where we celebrate our favorite snack: The Cookie! This month, we will roll together the perfectly-paired flavors of vanilla and chocolate to form whimsical pinwheels. This class is for children ages 4-12; parents are welcome to stay. Please no children under four (even if not participating). Registration is required at least 24 hours in advance. Private Cooking Classes
Whole Foods Market Evanston North offers private cooking classes to groups of up to 15 people (adults and/or children). This is great for a family activity, birthday celebration, book club, office party, etc. You bring us your ideas for a menu, and we'll put everything together for a beautiful, perfectly paired meal. The level of the group's participation in the cooking process varies depending on your comfort level. Book your cooking party. Kids Cooking Classes and Birthday Parties
Whether for a birthday party, back-to-school celebration, or scout/brownie visit, our parties entice and excite the pickiest eater! We provide a fun environment for kids to cook in while learning about nutrition and kitchen safety. Party goers eat what they make and go home with goodie bags and balloons. Our parties range from $200-$225 for ten children, with a $12.50 charge per each additional child. Cancellations
To cancel a class reservation please contact Customer Service at 847-733-1600. A full refund will be credited if you cancel within 24 hours prior to the start of the class.If a class has an insufficient number of participants, it will be canceled 24 hours prior to the start of the class. Whole Foods Market will contact you by phone regarding the cancellation. You will receive a credit for the class that can be redeemed for an in-store gift certificate or towards another class.
