  • Tuesday, November 10th and Every Second Tuesday of the Month

    Story and Snack Time

    11am FREE

    Join us in the café at the front of the store every Second Tuesday of the month as Evanston Public Library presents a special story and Whole Foods Market makes a tasty treat for the little ones to snack on.  Registration is not required -just meet us in the café!

  • Friday, November 13th

    Holiday Top Ten Wine Gala

    5 pm- 7pm Free Admission

    Our top notch wines at easy to swallow prices uncork the opening of the holiday season.  Celebrate with a taste of our Holiday Top Ten Wines paired with a selection of our Holiday Menu offerings in every department.  We strive to inspire your own holiday celebrations with this night of wine, food, and all things good.

  • Every Monday

    After School Snack Club

    4pm-5pm $7 per person

    Start the week off right with a delicious and nutritious after-school snack.  Kids ages 6-12 are invited to our cooking classroom every Monday afternoon to make a healthy snack.  This is a great way to introduce your kids to new ingredients and basic kitchen techniques.  Parents are welcome to stay.  Registration is required at least 24 hours in advance of each class.  Please register online for the 9th, and/or the 16th,

  • Tuesday, November 17th

    Cookie Monsters: S'mores Cookies!

    4pm-5pm $5 per person

    Join us for this monthly class where we celebrate our favorite snack: The Cookie!  This month we will transform our favorite camping treat, The S'more, into an ooey-gooey chocolate and marshmallow-topped cookie.  This class is for children ages 4-12; parents are welcome to stay.  Please no children under four (even if not participating).  Registration is required at least 24 hours in advance.  Please register online.


  • Wednesdays, November 18th & November 25th

    Dog Tales: Brandy and Val Book Reading with Author Ilene Fine

    11 am Free

    We'll make healthy homemade doggie treats and listen to Ilene Fine read her Brandy and Val books.  Find out what the dogs' favorite activities are, who their friends are, where they came from, and a whole lot more. A portion of the sales from the books is donated to animal rescue organizations throughout the United States.  Brandy and Val are registered therapy dogs who, with their parents, participate in Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy programs.  Check out Ilene, her pups, and find out more about these organizations at www.brandyandval.com.   Registration is not required -just meet us in the café!

  • Wednesday, November 18th

    Easy as Pie! Pie-making Class

    6:30pm $15 per person

    Want to impress all of your friends and family this holiday season with a delicious homemade pie?  You will learn techniques to make everything from the crust to a variety of fillings in this hands-on class.  Each participant will go home with their own, ready-to-bake pie.  This class is for ages 13 and up.  Registration is required at least 24 hours in advance.  Please register online.

  • Friday, November 19th

    No WINEing Beer Blast

    4pm-7pm Free Admission

    Wine is not the only beverage that goes well with your holiday meals.  Learn to compliment the traditional tastes of the holidays and liven up the festivities with beer!  Taste beers from Sierra Nevada Brewery, New Belgium, and Crispin Cider paired with our Holiday Menu favorites.

  • Value Tours

    Join Whole Foods Market Value Gurus on our next Value Tour. We are going to be sharing out top tips and secrets for healthy and economical back-to-school options for families. From our new antioxidant-rich mango açai berry juice packs to protein-rich nut butters, the ABCs of good nutrition are always in season at Whole Foods Market. Inquire at customer service to get hooked up with your tour guide.

  • Private Cooking Classes

    Whole Foods Market Evanston North offers private cooking classes to groups of up to 15 people (adults and/or children).  This is great for a family activity, birthday celebration, book club, office party, etc.  You bring us your ideas for a menu, and we'll put everything together for a beautiful, perfectly paired meal.  The level of the group's participation in the cooking process varies depending on your comfort level.  Book your cooking party.  Contact Buffy Feinstein by phone at 847.733.1600 or email: buffy.feinstein@wholefoods.com.

  • Kids Cooking Classes and Birthday Parties

    Whether for a birthday party, back-to-school celebration, or scout/brownie visit, our parties entice and excite the pickiest eater! We provide a fun environment for kids to cook in while learning about nutrition and kitchen safety. Party goers eat what they make and go home with goodie bags and balloons. Our parties range from $200-$225 for ten children, with a $12.50 charge per each additional child. Cancellations

To cancel a class reservation please contact Customer Service at 847-733-1600. A full refund will be credited if you cancel within 24 hours prior to the start of the class.

If a class has an insufficient number of participants, it will be canceled 24 hours prior to the start of the class. Whole Foods Market will contact you by phone regarding the cancellation. You will receive a credit for the class that can be redeemed for an in-store gift certificate or towards another class.
