The Cheese Grille is a mini restaurant that operates right out of our own Cheese Department! Featuring mouth-watering selections such as the Classic Grill with Wisconsin Aged Cheddar on buttery challah, the Fig & Blue Cheese Melt, Habanero Double Jack, Gouda and Italian Sandwiches even French Ham and Gruyere Cheese or Shredded Asadero and crumbled Cotija served with salsa fresca, sour cream and guacamole in a fresh tortilla! All served with chips and seasonal fruit!

You can order a Fresh salad with 3 different selections on the menu currently offered, the Soup of the Day, or even a glass of one of our select wines to enjoy with your food!

And don't forget the cheese flights! What is a cheese flight? I'm glad you asked! A Specialty Cheese Flight is an array of assorted cheeses that ranges from the "Local Flight" featuring Pub Cheddar, Monocacy Ash & Meadow Creek Mountaineer, to the "Domestic Flight" which tantalizes with Cowgirl Creamery St. Pat, Stravecchio Parmensan & Rogue Smoked Blue and everything in between!! Just ask at our Cheese Counter for a Cheese Flight and we can pair one for you or you can create your own! All cheese flights are served with your choice of crackers or grapes.

October 22nd- Festive Ales and Lagers! With the Holiday Landslide coming up quickly, I offer up some beers perfect for any jubilant occasion. Yes that is a very broad theme, but it is hard to say exactly which of the seasonal brews will be out at this time. Don't worry, I'll find something good.

November 12th- Brew to wash down the Tryptophan! One need not be stuck with wine this Gobble Day. Come have your eyes opened to the slew of brew that goes wonderfully with both delicious feasts and irritating relatives.

Gluten Free Cooking Class with Jules Shepard!

January

JULES COOKING CLASSES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED AT OUR STORE UNTIL JANUARY,

HOWEVER!! SHE IS TEACHING AT THE ANNAPOLIS WHOLE FOODS MARKET ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 14TH 11AM-1:30PM!

Jules is the founder of www.nearlynormalcooking.com and a diagnosed Celiac herself. Class will start at 1pm and their will be free product samples, recipe cards and coupons to take home. There will be lots of yummy food to taste and you can see how each is made so you feel confident making it at home. After the class, Jules will answer any questions you may have about gluten-free cooking.

Please note: There will be a $40 fee for Jules' class. You must register and pay the fee at her website at www.julesglutenfree.com

If you've attended a gluten-free cooking class with Jules Shepard, or have heard about them, you are no doubt aware of the fun, informative and delicious experience she inimitably bakes up for each class. The only limitation on the whole experience thus far has been the physical size of the room accommodating all those wishing to participate. And while we pride ourselves on offering as many free services to the community as possible, the quality and popularity of Jules' classes has necessitated our charging for future classes. That's because we find ourselves competing on Jules' schedule with classes she teaches all over the country for which she charges admission. To continue to offer these popular and informative classes as a service to our customers, we must do the same. Jules will also be donating a portion of each ticket price to further the pioneering work of the University of Maryland Center for Celiac Research.
We hope you've already put what you've learned at Jules' last class to use. We look forward to seeing you at the November class, when Jules will be demonstrating all new dishes!

Space is limited so reservations are a must. In addition to signing up with Jules, please email Jessica.baer@wholefoods.com

Jules E. D. Shepard is the author of Nearly Normal Cooking for Gluten-Free Eating, and the recently released The First Year: Celiac Disease and Living Gluten-Free: An Essential Guide for the Newly Diagnosed. She is also a spokesperson for the University of Maryland's Center for Celiac Research.
