    November's Lunch Club

    12 - 1 pm $10

    Watch and learn as your very own private Chef prepares a delicious lunch while teaching you how to use a variety of fresh, organic and local products that we hand select from our stores everyday. This is the best lunch deal in town, for only $10. And you get to go home with the recipe! After 10 lunches the next one’s on us. This month we will feature some new themes:  Monday:  Autumn Harvest Vegetarian; Friday: Gourmet Deli.

  • Vegan Baking

    2pm-3:30pm $20

    Being a vegan can be hard around the holidays.  Come and discover some great vegan desserts that you can make for your friends and family.  We'll be preparing Pumpkin Pecan Vegan Cake and Cherry Alomond Gluten Free Vegan Muffins and you'll get to sample and take home recipes.

  • Date Night: Alaskan King Crab And Beer

    6:30pm -8pm $40 per couple

    Now here's a mouth watering treat! Come join as we show you how to prepare a crab feast and then enjoy some great King Crab along with some great beer.  It's the perfect night out for two.

  • Tuesday, November 10th

    Fall Squash

    3pm -4pm $5

    Do you like squash but you're not sure how to prepare it?  Have you seen a variety of squash in our Produce department but aren't sure what to do with it?  Then this is the class for you.  We'll be taking on pumpkins, butternut squash, acorn squash, and spaghetti squash and helping you use these flavorful, nutrient filled gourds in your meals.

  • Turkey Basics

    6:30pm -8:30pm $20

    Thanksgiving is all about turkeys but not everyone knows how to make the perfect bird.  Let us show you how.  We'll give you tips on what to do from the time the turkey gets home until it comes out of the oven.  We'll also show you how to brine a turkey.   Afterwards we'll sample turkey with some stuffing from our Prepared Foods department.  Once you attend our class you'll never have to worry about your turkey again.

    Cooking 101: Supper Fundamentals

    6:30pm -8pm $15

    Do you struggle in the kitchen?  Do you want to expand your culinary range?  We'll help you learn simple chicken, beef and seafood dishes along with quick and easy side dishes.  Broaden your kitchen know-how so you can stop eating out.

    Classic Bistro: Middle Eastern Flavors

    6pm-8pm $20

    While edgy food trends go in and out of style, bistro style remains every popular.  It's a style that takes basic, often inexpensive ingredients and turns them into comfort food at its best. Tonight's focus is on the exotic and delicious flavors of the Middle East. This is a great class to learn more about the products we offer in the store and how to use them.

    Fish School: Bouillabaisse

    7pm-9pm $20

    Our fish school series continues with this month's demonstrations on how to prepare a traditional bouillabaisse. Bouillabaisse is a traditional Provencal fish stew originating from the port city of Marseille.   Fish is a great addition to any diet so come learn how to prep and cook this hearty fish stew that will really impress your friends.

    Baking With Shay: Hot Apple Pie

    12pm-2pm $10

    Nothing is better than baking your own French apple crumb pie except eating it. Come in and learn step by step how to make your own delicious apple pie from scratch including the pie crust. Take the recipe with you, and make it for your friends and family for Thanksgiving. This is the real deal, just like Grandma used to make.

    It's the last weekend before Thanksgiving - have you planned your menu yet?  Let Whole Foods Market help you out.  We're taking orders for Thanksgiving meals and will be holding a Taste of Thanksgiving sampling so you can taste items before you place your order.  Stop by and let us help you make your Thanksgiving less stressful.  No reservations required for this sampling

  • Knife Skills Special: How To Carve Holiday Poultry

    5pm-6:30pm $10

    Sharpen your skills in the kitchen and learn the best ways to carve your holiday poultry!  Learn safety, usage and cutting tips.  Bring your own chef's knife.  Please use a knife safe or carefully wrap your tool for safety during transport. Space is limited for this class.

    Thanksgiving Leftovers

    Want to know what to do with all that extra turkey? We'd be happy to show you how not to let your leftovers go to waste.  We'll teach you how to make turkey pot pie, turkey soup and turkey quiche.  We'll be sampling too - yum!

    Kundalini Yoga

    In Sanskrit, Kundalini literally means "coiled". In Indian yoga, Kundalini is considered a part of the subtle body along with chakras (energy centers) and nadis (channels), and has many aspects in common with Chinese theories of acupuncture. This class features a dynamic blend of postures, pranayam, mantra, soothing music and meditation.

    Need a little relaxation after Thanksgiving?  Come learn how to make your own spa skin care products that are great for you or even to give as gifts.  This month we'll be creating mask cleansers and moisturizers for you to take home. Enjoy the relaxing benefits of using aromatherapy oils in your skin care. To make the day even more relaxing we'll be having mimosas as we create our spa pleasures.

    Halloween Party

    3pm-4:30pm Free

    Our store's team members invite children ages 10 and under to come by before you go trick or treating and show off your Halloween costume.  We'll be doing crafts and eating all-natural Halloween snacks and treats.  We'll also have a parade through the store at 4pm and the children will be able to show off their costumes and trick or treat in all the departments.  Registration is limited to 25 children so please be sure to register.

    Kids Story Time and Cooking
