November's Lunch Club
12 - 1 pm $10
Watch and learn as your very own private Chef prepares a delicious lunch while teaching you how to use a variety of fresh, organic and local products that we hand select from our stores everyday. This is the best lunch deal in town, for only $10. And you get to go home with the recipe! After 10 lunches the next one’s on us. This month we will feature some new themes: Monday: Autumn Harvest Vegetarian; Friday: Gourmet Deli.

Savvy Shopper Tour: Holiday Edition
6pm-7pm Free
Learn how to get the most for your money while shopping at Whole Foods Market. We'll take you on a tour of the store, teach you how to get the best value for your dollar, and how to spot great deals on our aisles. This month we will be holiday focused and showing you ways to save money for your holiday meals in November and December. All attendees will receive a bag to take home that will include a few samples. Class is limited to 20 attendees and registration is required.

Wild Veggie, The Souper Drink

Have you ever seen Wild Veggie, the Souper Drink, and been not quite sure how to use it? Wild Veggie is an easy choice for everyone because it can be enjoyed hot or cold. Now at all Florida Whole Foods Markets in the Prepared Foods refrigerated case, varieties include broccoli, cauliflower, edamame, carrot and red bell pepper.

Fall Soups

Fall is a great time to enjoy soups. They are comforting and in the cooler temperatures can really hit the spot. We will demonstrate fall soups with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients. You'll learn the foundations of making soups, sample them and take home the recipes so you can prepare them for your family. Soups: Kale & White Bean Soup, Winter Squash Soup, and Split Pea Soup.

Book Club: Meet, Greet And Eat

Vegan Baking

Being a vegan can be hard around the holidays. Come and discover some great vegan desserts that you can make for your friends and family. We'll be preparing Pumpkin Pecan Vegan Cake and Cherry Alomond Gluten Free Vegan Muffins and you'll get to sample and take home recipes.

Date Night: Alaskan King Crab And Beer

Now here's a mouth watering treat! Come join as we show you how to prepare a crab feast and then enjoy some great King Crab along with some great beer. It's the perfect night out for two.

Fall Squash

Do you like squash but you're not sure how to prepare it? Have you seen a variety of squash in our Produce department but aren't sure what to do with it? Then this is the class for you. We'll be taking on pumpkins, butternut squash, acorn squash, and spaghetti squash and helping you use these flavorful, nutrient filled gourds in your meals.

Turkey Basics

Thanksgiving is all about turkeys but not everyone knows how to make the perfect bird. Let us show you how. We'll give you tips on what to do from the time the turkey gets home until it comes out of the oven. We'll also show you how to brine a turkey. Afterwards we'll sample turkey with some stuffing from our Prepared Foods department. Once you attend our class you'll never have to worry about your turkey again.

Classic Bistro: Middle Eastern Flavors

While edgy food trends go in and out of style, bistro style remains every popular. It's a style that takes basic, often inexpensive ingredients and turns them into comfort food at its best. Tonight's focus is on the exotic and delicious flavors of the Middle East. This is a great class to learn more about the products we offer in the store and how to use them.

Fish School: Bouillabaisse

Our fish school series continues with this month's demonstrations on how to prepare a traditional bouillabaisse. Bouillabaisse is a traditional Provencal fish stew originating from the port city of Marseille. Fish is a great addition to any diet so come learn how to prep and cook this hearty fish stew that will really impress your friends.

Baking With Shay: Hot Apple Pie

Nothing is better than baking your own French apple crumb pie except eating it. Come in and learn step by step how to make your own delicious apple pie from scratch including the pie crust. Take the recipe with you, and make it for your friends and family for Thanksgiving. This is the real deal, just like Grandma used to make.

Knife Skills Special: How To Carve Holiday Poultry

Kundalini Yoga
In Sanskrit, Kundalini literally means "coiled". In Indian yoga, Kundalini is considered a part of the subtle body along with chakras (energy centers) and nadis (channels), and has many aspects in common with Chinese theories of acupuncture. This class features a dynamic blend of postures, pranayam, mantra, soothing music and meditation.

This month we'll be creating mask cleansers and moisturizers for you to take home. Enjoy the relaxing benefits of using aromatherapy oils in your skin care. To make the day even more relaxing we'll be having mimosas as we create our spa pleasures.

Our store's team members invite children ages 10 and under to come by before you go trick or treating and show off your Halloween costume. We'll be doing crafts and eating all-natural Halloween snacks and treats. We'll also have a parade through the store at 4pm and the children will be able to show off their costumes and trick or treat in all the departments. Registration is limited to 25 children so please be sure to register.
