Our breads and pastries are crafted from 100% natural ingredients, exclusive of trans-fats and artificial colors and flavorings. Our skilled bakers and pastry chef up at the break of dawn each morning mixing, pouring, baking, and decorating the beautiful cakes and pastries you find in our bakery and self-serve cases.

Our Naked Bread is baked throughout the day so you are guaranteed the freshest, artisan made breads no matter what time you come in to shop with us.

We have a brand-new Candy Case filled with decadent hand-made chocolates and truffles and old-fashioned candy ribbons, lollipops, and butter toffees. Buy by the each or the pound!

We also provide a selection of special diet baked goods including gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan goodies. You can find our dedicated Gluten-Free Bakehouse products both in our Bakery and Frozen aisle.

Cheese & Specialty Foods

Longing for a piece of European culture and food? Merely step into our Specialty Department and you're there!

Our Specialty Department is modeled on the traditional cheese and specialty foods shops one would find while traveling through Europe. Cheeses from our local farmers are a delicacy you can only get in New England while there are several selections from Holland, France, Spain, Italy and the British Isles. Our Specialty Team members are extremely knowledgeable and can help you select varieties and answer your questions on any product we sell.

Our self-service Antipasto Bar is filled with a variety of Mediterranean foods. We carry some of the finest chocolate made in the world — Valhrona, Callebaut, and Knipschildts and you'd be hard pressed to find a better truffle than our own 365 Organic Truffles in chocolate and cappuccino flavors.

Before you go back the real world, browse the selection of our own fair-trade Allegro Coffee, roasted and dated for optimum freshness. Or grab a fresh-brewed cup to go!

Floral

We really mean it when we say, "Stop and smell the roses"! You cannot find a better quality or value anywhere on our direct-from-the-farm flowers. We offer a variety of seasonal cut flowers, potted plants and herbs throughout the year and our flowers are delivered several times per week.

Our fair-trade rose growers use IPM (Integrated Pest Management) practices to ensure that plants are watered with only fresh, pure water and that minimal pesticides and preservatives are used.

We have highly skilled floral designers who are happy to wrap your flowers or make a special arrangement while you shop. We offer floral services for all occasions including weddings, proms and centerpieces for your holiday table. Stop by anytime to discuss your special occasion plans with one of our designers and rest assured that you will have the most beautiful and fresh flowers on your special day.

Designing, unique, one-of-a-kind gift baskets are also one of the services our Floral Team provides. Fruit, New Baby, Chocolate, or Organic? You name the theme!

Grocery

High quality and great value is the name of the game in our Grocery Departments! We offer something for everyone from fantastic buys in our Private Label Brands (just look for the products with the labels above) for the budget-conscious to select variety, artisan made products for the gourmand. That's why you will find our 365 Brand of Olive Oil for less than $10 near a rare, gourmet olive oil at $40. Don't need a whole pound of almonds? Shop our Bulk Section where you measure out exactly the amount you need including making your own nut butter!

In our dairy case, you will find the usual suspects of milk, eggs, butter, and orange juice, including organic varieties but you will also find non-dairy items such as tofu, meat-alternative deli and sandwich fixings, and yogurts made from soy and milks from cows, goats, sheep, and water buffalo. No, the Wallaby yogurt isn't made from wallabies but we like to have some fun with the school groups who frequently tour our store.

Just as we offer you great taste and great value 365 days a year, we are 100% committed to finding and supporting locally made products.

Meat & Poultry

There are few places where you can find prime cuts of meat and poultry hand cut the old-fashioned way by our meat cutters, fresh and ready for the meat case, every single day.

Our meat and poultry are raised to the highest standard and are never given antibiotics or added growth hormones and are fed a strict vegetarian diet. Our premium, air-chilled chicken is the Best Value in Town and we also other poultry selections including goose, duck, pheasant and turkeys. We offer organic chickens and organic turkeys as well as kosher chickens. Our Meat Team is happy to cut your meat to order.

No time to prepare a meal? Try one of our oven-ready stuffed chicken breasts or marinated stir-fry or kabobs. Our handmade sausages are made in-house daily and come in a variety of flavors. For a great value, our Whole Ranch hotdogs in beef, turkey, and chicken varieties can't be beat.

Prepared Foods

Since our renovation, we have even more offerings for our customers to choose from our Prepared Foods Department. As well as the delectable dishes offered from our Kitchens and talented in-house chefs, we now have a brick pizza oven where hot pizza and calzones are prepared for your enjoyment. Our new Carvery is open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and again from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily with traditional homemade style dishes such as roast beef, hams, turkey meatloaf, grilled Panini sandwiches and sandwich melts. Grab a plate, choose your entrée with side dishes and enjoy a hot meal in our Café or take it with you!

We now serve rotisserie chicken throughout the day, hot out of the oven to our rotisserie bar where you will find a variety of roast chicken from plain style to herb to teriyaki.

Even our soup bar has been expanded so we offer six different hot and delicious soups each and every day. You'll also find the same selections of hot soups in our deli case for you to take home and enjoy.

Our Salad Bar and Hot Bar is a premium feature of our Prepared Foods Department and you'll never get bored with the selections as we change our menu every week. Italian, Chinese, Middle Eastern, Indian, are some of the ethnic varieties you'll find on our Hot Bar and you'll find a great selection of cold, mixed salads on either end of our Salad Bar. We always have Sushi also.

Produce

Our Produce Department is our crown jewel without a doubt. Our commitment to locally grown produce, organics, and highest-grade produce, is evident in the beautiful abundance and bounty that greets you when you walk through our doors.

We take strict steps to ensure that we maintain Organic Integrity throughout our store, which means that, organic and conventional produce is kept separate from the time it leaves the farms to the time it arrives in our store and onto our shelves.

A commitment to local farms are part of our promise to support our communities and local growers, as well as protecting the land and environment. Each season, we work exclusively with smaller, local farms such as World Peas Coop in Dracut, Land's Sake Farm in Weston, and Lookout Farm in Natick, who grow fruits and vegetables for just a few stores in the Whole Foods Market chain. We also believe that buying local ensures you that you are getting the fresh picked vitality of plants because the produce is fresh from the field and at our doorstep in less time than produce that grown in other parts of the country.

Our selection of hand-cut fruits, fresh squeezed juices, and specialty fruits and vegetables make us the destination for the best selections in town.

Seafood

Just what is that twinkling and glistening at you as you round the back corner of our store? Is it a pearl? A diamond? Well, you are right! You have found yourself in out sparkling Seafood Department where you will find the jewels of the sea laid out in our Seafood Case.

What makes our Seafood so special? Pigeon Cove, our own seafood company located in Gloucester uses day boats to daily catch fresh fish, sort them right on the dock, inspected in our on the water facility, and shipped direct to our store seven days a week. Our Seafood Buyers purchase only what we can sell in a day or two.

We are committed to sustainable fishing practices, which is why you won't find over fished species in our cases. Our farm-raised fish come from small fish farms on the pristine coastline and fjords of Norway.

We now feature in-house smoked fish, smoked daily and laid out in assortment in our smoked fish case right next to our steaming hot seafood soup bar with fresh made chowders and bisques already for you to throw a few oyster crackers into.

If you want to stock your freezer, our on the boat flash frozen Whole Catch steaks and fillets are right behind you in our freezer case along with shrimp and scallops so there is always something quick and easy to pull from the freezer for dinner. For a variety of appetizers, we have some unique and fun frozen fish appetizers like Coconut Shrimp and Shrimp Poppers to enliven your taste buds.

Whole Body

Why pay more for exceptional quality vitamins and skin care products? Most of the prices of conventional industry products sold in department stores and pharmacies reflect the advertising dollars poured into the promotion of the products. Many of these products are created using ingredients and standards Whole Foods Market is strictly against, no animal testing, no artificial colors, preservatives, and fragrances.

That's why many of the products on Whole Body's shelves may not be recognizable but that is because they put the money where it should be, into the product!

Our Body Care products are made clean and exceptionally well made. Again, a Whole Body Team Member will be happy to find the skin care product that is right for you and if you are not happy with your purchase we will be happy to refund your money or issue you a store credit for your return.
