    Bag Hunger Program!

    8:00am-10:00pm

    Whole Foods Market is bagging hunger! Puchase any of our pre-made grocery bags at a 10% discount and donate to someone in need this holiday season. Take it to the organization of your choice, or leave it in the barrel at our store for Sunshine Division. The Portland Police Sunshine Division is a non-profit emergency food relief organization.  The Division has been in operation since the early 1920's and continues to offer emergency food relief as a result of generous donations of food, cash, and services from local businesses and the general public.  With the help of programs like our Bag Hunger program, the Sunshine Division provides over $1,000,000 worth of food and goods to organizations and individuals each year.

    Bike Commuting Workshop

    5:30-6:30pm Free!

    Presented by Michelle Poyourow, BTA Advocate and bike commuter aficionado! This workshop is designed to benefit bike commuters at all levels from wanna-be's to the very experienced.  Topics include safe and legal riding; what you need to know about lights and rain gear; route planning and maps; what to do with your hair and the best way to carry stuff!     Donate Dinner to Meals on Wheels!

    8:00am-10:00pm

    Loaves & Fishes Center is a non-profit organization that provides hot, nutritious meals to seniors 60 years and older. Volunteers will be in our stores collecting donations for this holiday season. Last year, with your help, we were able to donate $6388.48 to seniors in need! Let's see what we can do this year!

  • Sunday, November 22nd

    Holiday Snacks 101

    4:00-5:00pm $5

    Join Cameron Addy from Belly Restaurant in our cooking school for some great recipe ideas on holiday snacks to enjoy while waiting for dinner! On the menu: crostini, chips, dips and other simple eats that everyone will enjoy.  Register at Guest Service next time you are in the store or call 503-288-3414. Friday, November 20th is the last day to register!

  • Tuesday, November 24th-Wednesday, November 25th

    Do some shopping and get a free ride home from Zipcar!

    4:00-8:00pm

    Zipcar volunteers will be in the store from 4-8pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, making Thanksgiving shopping easy! Come do your holiday shopping and don't worry about balancing that heavy Thanksgiving turkey on your bike!
