Community Giving

Whole Foods Market is an active member of the Gold Coast and Chicago Community. We regularly support and make donations to local charities and non-profit organizations.

Our Community Support Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

The Gold Coast Whole Foods Market is a proud partner of the Greater Chicago Food Depository, the Garfield Park Conservatory, the Newberry Library, Redmoon Theater, Friends of the Chicago River and the Lake Michigan Federation.

Please follow these simple steps to request a donation:

1.  Download the Whole Foods Market Gold Coast Donation Application

2.  Review the application and confirm that you meet all the requirements 

3.  Complete and submit the Donation Application to Kate Zachary, Store Marketing Specialist at least 6 weeks prior to the date you need the donation
