    Passover Cooking for Parents and Teens

    6.30p.m. to 8p.m. $10 for adult, $15 for parent and teen (13+)

    Jewish educator Shoshana Zonderman and Berkshire Cuisine chefs Dawn LaRochelle and Jim Lambert (of Apogee Catering and the Perigee Restaurant) team up again to teach about preparing delicious Passover foods. All adults are welcome, with or without a teen.

  • Monday, March 15th

    Kids Club Passport to Ireland

    3.30p.m. - 5.30p.m. FREE in the cafe.

    We're off to Ireland, land of leprechauns, rainbows, and the Blarney

    Stone. To get ready for St. Patrick's Day, we'll top a New World

    version of delicious shepherd's pie with pot o' gold potatoes and then

    frost and decorate shamrock-shaped cookies for dessert. We'll also

    enjoy an authentic Irish snack of fresh-baked soda bread spread with

    sweet Irish butter and a wee bit of Irish breakfast tea.

    While this event is free and open to all kids, please sign up at the customer service booth.

    Malbec Mania with Marissa

    6.30p.m. to 8p.m. $10

    We're honored to have Marissa Ocasio of TGIC Imports lead this fun-filled seminar on Malbec from Argentina.
    We'll try several different styles, from everyday table wine to small-production hand-crafted works of art.
    Marissa is one of the nicest, most knowledgeable women in the business and we're honored to have her at Whole Foods Market, Hadley.
    Light fare will be served, this class is only open to those over 21 years of age. Please sign up at the customer service booth.

    4p.m. to 7p.m. FREE throughout the store

    One Thursday afternoon each month we showcase some of our best New England-made products, many made right here in the Pioneer Valley! Taste what your neighbors have to offer and learn about the story behind your new favorite salsa, BBQ sauce, pizza, pudding, tofu, essential oils, kombucha, granola, cheese, salad dressing and sweet & salty snacks! Get to know those who make the best food in the region and support your regional economy while eating delicious food! We have an exceptionally full and delicious lineup this month, so don't miss out!

    Cooking class from the Islands of Greece

    6.30p.m. to 8p.m. $10

    We continue our Mediterranean theme with a culinary visit to Greece, a country that treasures its abundance of marvelous seafood and fresh vegetables. We'll enjoy recipes that are traditional, aromatic and vibrant-and heart-healthy! Tonight's class will include a tasty grouping of meze dishes that you can share with family and friends: Aubergine Melizano (grilled eggplant dip), Tzatziki (cucumber salad with yogurt and lemon), Dolmadakia (stuffed grape leaves), Hummus (blended chickpea and tahini dip),  Calamares Farcis (grilled filled squid), and Figues au Yaourt (fresh figs with yogurt crème).
