Foodies Fight Autism Carnival!

Step right up and join us January 30, 2010, from 12n-4p, for a carnival with a cause as Tackling Autism and Whole Foods Market Sugar Land team-up to bring awareness to autism. This family-friendly event will feature autograph signings from Houston Texans and other professional athletes, football drills with the pros, cake walks, games, an old-fashion popcorn machine, cotton candy, raffle prizes, gluten free cooking demonstrations and more! There will also be live music from Vagabond Swing and a Crazy Water dunk tank! Tickets will be sold at the event and all proceeds will benefit Tackling Autism! See you there!
Ticket prices are 50 cents each, or a package of 25 tickets is $10. A package of 60 tickets is $20.

Celebrate Mardi Gras
Don't forget Valentine's Weekend also overlaps with Mardi Gras celebrations. Fat Tuesday falls on February 16th this year and is the culmination of Mardi Gras festivities. Make sure you remember to buy your King Cake. Our sweet, buttery cakes are made with all natural ingredients and come in four flavors- Cinnamon, Pecan Praline, Raspberry Cream Cheese, and Chantilly.

"Where the Chefs Eat" Culinary Tours
Top Houston Chefs Expose City's Foodie Secrets $180 per person
If your taste buds tingle at the thought of culinary adventures, then soothe your salivations by taking a guided tour with Houston’s top chefs. In conjunction with Whole Foods Market and the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, chefs Bryan Caswell (Reef), Randy Evans (Haven), Monica Pope (T’afia), Chris Shepherd (Catalan), Mark Holley (Pesce), Hugo Ortega (Hugo's), Marcus Davis (The Breakfast Klub), and food critic Robb Walsh (Houston Press) will showcase Houston restaurants, markets and neighborhoods that make Houston one of the most diverse culinary cities in the world. Proceeds benefit the Houston Food Bank.
Each location is selected by the chefs and tours vary depending on which chefs are leading. All tours will begin and end at Whole Foods Market.
