    Warm yourself up by learning to make some soup!  René Rich of Learn Cook Eat will demonstrate the making of 3 soups using fresh ingredients.  Samples of each soup will be provided.  Menu includes Roasted Pepper and Tomato Soup (Vegetarian), Mushroom Barley Soup and Tortilla Soup with Black Bean Salsa.

    For one day only we will be featuring whole mahi-mahi, a majestic and delicious fish, carved before your very eyes!  A cooking demonstration, tasting, and wine pairings will be offered to give you all the information you need to serve it yourself. Whether you purchase enough for one meal or stock your freezer, during this event we will feature a special low price on mahi-mahi.  What a catch!

The menu includes Crab, Coconut and Coriander Soup with fresh Lime and Chili Oil, Potato Leek Soup and Buffalo Chili and Jalapeno Cornbread Muffins.

    Food as Medicine - Time Tested Nutritional Thinking for Health and Healing

    Eastern Nutritional theory recognizes the unique health aspects of every food and of every individual.  Mitchell Harris (L.Ac, Dipl OM), a Professor of Chinese Medicine at Pacific College, will teach participants how to choose foods for their unique health picture and analyze recipes from a time tested holistic perspective. Those who attend will learn basic principles of Eastern Nutrition, be shown resources for further knowledge, and receive a complimentary traditional diagnostic reading.  *The class includes a $10 gift card for you to keep!

    This one-hour culinary class will teach you about the benefits of eating less meat and more plant-based proteins.  Learn how to make flavorful, healthy and meatless meals that you and your family will enjoy.  Victoria Shanta Retelny, registered dietitian and culinary instructor, will explore ingredients and ways to prepare four-weeks of Monday evening meals.  Four recipes include: Chinese tofu salad, roasted tomato & three bean soup, nutty couscous salad, spicy spaghetti & broccoli.
