    Beer 101 at The Beer Kiosk

    12:00-12:30 p.m. Free

    Beer styles and flavors are just as varied as wine and cheese. Do you know the difference between a Pilsner and a Porter, or an American Pale Ale and an India Pale Ale? We have just the thing for the beer-curious! Join us for an informal session of tasting and Q & A with our resident beer buff!

    Fourth Annual Ice Skating on the Plaza

    10:00 am - 9:00 pm $10.00 includes rentals

    The Holiday Season is here!  Bring the family out to Whole Foods Market for Austin's only outdoor ice skating rink.  $10 a ticket - includes skate rental and 50 minutes on the ice.  Tickets are available for purchase an hour before desired skating session. 

    40 people maximum capacity on ice (50 during private party)

    Music at the Market

    Whole Foods Market and the Austin Music Foundation have joined forces to bring you great live music year round.  Join us outdoors on the Shoal Creek patio.  Tonight, get ready for the holidays with one McCallum High School's famed string quartet! McCallum's Orchestra program was started in 1953 with the opening of the school and has had a history of highly qualified and dynamic orchestra directors.  Today the program has grown to close to 100 students participating in three performing orchestras, a double bass ensemble, and, with the support of the Austin Chamber Music Center educational outreach, numerous other quartets and ensembles.

    Fire and Ice

    Noon - 8:00pm $10.00

    The Austin Fire Department presents "Fire and Ice" at Whole Foods Market downtown on the Rooftop Plaza.  All ticket sales benefit the Austin Fire Department's Free Smoke Alarm Fund.  Tickets to the event include one skate session and skate rentals, the sessions are first come, first served, with a maximum of 40 skaters per session.  Sessions begin at the top of each hour, lasting 50 minutes, allowing 10 minutes for ice maintenance.
