Led by the Green Mama, this popular interactive group provides support and community for parents pursuing green lifestyles or for those who are just eco-curious. Weekly topics include making sense of green buzzwords, healthy food for kid and mama, and greening up your diaper (or potty) routine. We were working in the store late one night when we decided to put on some eerie delight! Halloween is here and no one enjoys a haunting good time like your friends at Whole Foods Market - Lincoln Park. We're transforming our store for a frightfully fun shopping experience. We will sample tasty treats to ward off tricks throughout the store. At the 1550 bar, throughout the day we'll show favorite and classic Halloween movies. Stop in and be a part of the judging for our team member pumpkin carving contest as they battle it out for best design. You might even get to see a costume or two.

826CHI Food & Memoir Writing Workshop for 4th-8th graders

826CHI, a Chicago nonprofit dedicated to supporting students age 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, will be hosting a free food and memoir writing workshop for 4th-8th graders. Workshop students will also share some of the pieces they've created at a reading on Saturday, November 21st from 1-2 p.m. Interested students must commit to attending all three sessions.
