  • Fridays, November 6, 13 and 20

    The best wine tastings in Los Altos!

    5 to 7 p.m. $1.

    Come check out the best of our wine selection for your party and budget needs. Every tasting will host a featured winery or wine theme. The tastings also are a great time to speak with our specialits about how to pick the best wine or cheese for your special occasions. Every Friday except November 27. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Community Services Agency.

  • Wednesday, November 11

    Thanksgiving Classics with a Twist

    6 p.m. $35

    Join chef Kelly Fong for a cooking class that offers updates to classic Thanksgiving dishes. This class also includes wine tasting featuring local wines. On the menu: Kelly's gravy, roasted garlic and herb potatoes, apple, sausage and foccacia stuffing, zesty green beans and fresh ginger cranberry relish.     Platinum Holiday Tasting Party

    5:30 to 8:00 p.m. $3

    You don't want to miss the best tasting party of the year! Our prepared foods team is making meals for every taste and we are sampling them out at this event. A big bonus: our traditional Thanksgiving meal that serves 8 people is under $100 this year. 

    Menu includes: All natural oven roasted Diestel turkey and sides such as fresh green beans with shallots and herbs and cranberry relish. Exclusive sides such as dungeness crab and brie Mac N Cheese and apricot glazed sweet potatoes will also be sampled. A wine tasting and dessert sampling will also be available. Generous samples so bring your appetite! Please bring your canned food items for Community Services Agency to this event and receive a free goodie bag.

    Holiday Meal Tasting with Whole Foods Market

    11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free

    Cranberry relish, fresh green beans, creamy mashed potatoes are just some of our popular Thanksgiving standards we will be serving at our weekend holiday tastings. Come taste new dishes this year including dungeness crab and brief Mac N Cheese and apricot glazed sweet potatoes. All natural Diestel turkey and organic Heidi's Hens turkeys will also be sampled. Here is the best news: our Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner that feeds 8 people is less than $100 this year!

    Healthy Holiday Makeover

    6 p.m. $25 includes a copy of Allergy Friendly Cookbook

    This class is perfect for people who want to celebrate the season without wheat, dairy and refined sugars. Bonnie Presti, culinary coach and author of Allergy Friendly Cookbook, will show how to make alternative dishes for sensitive diners including cranberry suace without refined sugar and stuffing made with gluten-free bread. She also will teach ways to infuse flavor using healthier ingredients.

    Green Gift Fair

    11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Free

    Special event!

    We are hosting a Green Gift Fair to showcase gifts that are easy on the Earth and easy on your budget. Gifts ranging from locally-made toys, eco-firendly art supplies, fair trade jewelry, organic cotton accessories and handcrafted food gifts will be on display. Other features include kids' games and crafts, food and music.

    In addition, we will host two classes:

    Free green gift wrap workshop at 11:30 a.m. - This class will teach you to wrap up your gifts using household recycled materials such as paper bags and newspaper. People attending this class should bring their own paper bags for a unique touch.  

    Free homemade gift making class at 1:30 p.m. - On the menu for this class includes homemade wine jelly, stuffed brief and hot cocoa mix. Haley, from our specialty team, will also teach how to package your homemade food crafts for a unique gift this year.
