Community Giving

Whole Foods Market is a company with a conscience. The Louisville store is committed to being a supportive and meaningful presence in our community through a variety of partnerships. We hold benefit shopping days each quarter, we provide product donations for special events, and we develop other partnerships to support our community.

Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

Download our 5% Day Application or pick-up one at Customer Service.

Charitable Giving

We also provide donations in the form of product. We are happy to help non-profit organizations in Louisville area who are holding special events by donating food or beverages. If you are a non-profit organization in the Louisville community, we might be able to help you! If your non-profit organization would like to request a donation, please download our Donation Request form or pick one up at the Customer Service Booth and return the filled out form to the store. Please keep in mind that for most donation requests we need at least 6–8 weeks notice.

In the Community

Whole Foods Market Louisville is involved in the community in many ways. Our team members volunteer within many organizations. The store itself collects for local food banks and churches that help feed the hungry. We have a Community Board reserved for local non-profits to highlight fundraising events and allows them to get the word out to the community about who and what they are doing to make Louisville a great place to live.

Store Tours

We provide Store Tours that focus on making healthy eating choices, choosing alternative foods for those with food allergies and more. We also offer tours to various groups. To schedule a tour contact Jackie Longmire for more information at 502-899-5545.
