Class Registration
48 hour advance registration along with payment (if necessary) is requested to reserve your place in a class. Register for classes in person at the customer service desk or call 608.233.9566 (unless otherwise noted). To receive a refund, please allow us 24 hours notice to cancel a class. All classes must be registered for in advance unless otherwise noted.

    Tuesday Night Grill-Outs

    4:00-8:00 p.m. Special Menu

    Time to pull out the grill and celebrate warm weather, good friends and great food!  Join Whole Foods Market Madison each Tuesday night under the awning, for a scrumptious menu off the grill (veggie alternatives too!). Weather pending.

    Kid's Cooking Camp

    10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. $10 per class ($40 series)

    This is the perfect camp for budding young chefs!  Children will have an opportunity to make their own dishes and eat their creations. Each week will focus on one of our exciting topics: Fresh Pasta Making, Baking, Homemade Pizza and Handmade Ice Cream. Sign up soon, camp is limited to 10 children only, so will fill up fast! Ages 7-12. Can't make all the classes? No problem! Sign up for the topic which interests you most!

    Tandoori Tuesday: with White Jasmine, LLC

    Join us this Tuesday for a  special grilling event featuring the "Tandoori Burger" made with White Jasmine Spices from local cook and author Huma Siddiqui's special recipe. Huma will be on site to answer questions, so be sure to bring in your copy of "Jasmine in Her Hair" for a special signing (or pick one up at the event)!

    Join Dr. David Dow, a Madison Chiropractor and Acupuncturist for 15 years, and learn the latest techniques to cleanse your body of toxins. Learn the wide sweeping effects of toxins on your body and how they can alter your DNA and cause disease even in your great grandchildren. The lecture includes videos and there will be time set aside for short consultations with the doctor. Attend and enter a raffle to win a massage.

    Spice up your summer grilling with authentic Indian cuisine from Neeta Saluja. Tonight's meal will feature: Tangy Chicken, a simple variation of Tandoori marinated with fresh herbs and spices; Indian Vegetarian Burger, a tantalizing mix of potatoes, paneer, peas, cilantro, and Indian spices; and a cool, refreshing mango shake.

    Outside Event: Art Fair on the Square

    Mark your calendars for the next Art Fair on the Square! Located around Madison's beautiful Capitol Concourse, Art Fair on the Square is a popular summer tradition that regularly attracts more than 200,000 enthusiastic fairgoers and is rated among the top fine art fairs in the country (www.mmoca.org/events/artfair/ for more information). Whole Foods Market is proud to be a long-time sponsor of the event, donating gift bags to the several hundred artists on (and off!) the square to help fuel their long weekend. Be sure to stop by our booth at the end of State Street, say hello and grab yourself a sample!

    As a special treat to this Tuesday's Grill-Out, we are pleased to offer live music al fresco (weather pending) from Shannon Hurley, our special guest all the way from Nashville, Tennessee. Hand-picked as one of Rolling Stone's top 25 best bands on MySpace, Shannon Hurley's alternative pop style has often been compared to Aimee Mann and Sarah McLachlan, but her songwriting and singing have lifted her to a place that is completely her own (www.myspace.com/shannonhurley) . So grab a burger, sit down and enjoy some good live tunes.

    Come join the Four Lakes Traditional Music Collective at Lake Farm County Park for a weekend of great music ranging from bluegrass to old-time, Native American, Cajun, and much more.  The group is proud to be hosting two Grammy Award winners this year:  J.D.   • One Dime at a Time: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County

    Did you know that every time you bring in your own bag at Whole Foods Market, you receive 10 cents back for doing so (for every bag you use!)? Now however, you also have the option to donate those 10 cents to a local area nonprofit! July through September your dimes will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County, a mentoring organization that has been matching caring adult volunteers to children in Dane County since 1966.   • Hosting a meeting?

    Why not meet at Whole Foods Market Madison? Our Community Room is a wonderful meeting place for all kinds of functions; sports clubs, school functions, support groups (New Parent, Healthy Lifestyle, etc.) fundraising committees, work-related meetings, you name it, we are willing to host it! Catering is available for pickup from our Deli and Bakery. Due to capacity constraints, meetings are limited to 15 or fewer persons.
