Community Giving
Support Whole Foods Market’s Small Change Adds Up charitable program today! When you bring your reusable bags to pack your groceries, you receive 10 cents off your purchase for each bag. Now you can make that small change go even further by choosing to donate your bag refund to Citizens Campaign For The Environment.
Through public education, research, lobbying, organizing and public outreach, Citizens Campaign for the Environment (CCE) works to build widespread citizen understanding and advocacy for policies and actions designed to manage and protect our natural resources and public health.
So, remember to bring your reusable bags, because small change adds up and gives way to change in our local community and global landscape. Thank you for your donation and for shopping with Whole Foods Market Manahsset!
5% Days Make A Big Impact!
At Whole Foods Market Manhasset, we are active participants in our community. We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month! We strive to make a difference.
Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.
During our most recent 5% Day we raised $4,025.85 for Blue Ocean Institute (www.blueocean.org). Through science, art and literature, Blue Ocean Institute works to inspire a closer relationship with the sea and devise practical solutions to conservation problems.
If you would like to be considered for one of our 5% Days, please send a proposal and a copy of your group’s 501(c)3 form to:
