Welcome to Whole Foods Market Manhasset!
Our store is located at the intersection of Route 25A (Northern Boulevard) and Port Washington Boulevard, directly across the street from the Americana Mall on Long Island's beautiful North Shore, 20 miles from Manhattan and 55 miles from the Hamptons. We share our parking lot with Chase Bank, Benihana and Bed, Bath & Beyond.
Our store has been an integral part of the community since it opened in February of 1996 as part of the Fresh Fields natural foods supermarket chain, which became part of Whole Foods Market in the summer of 1996. Manhasset has approximately 24,000 square feet and is the second largest natural foods store on Long Island.
We strive to offer the highest quality, most flavorful foods, free of artificial ingredients and preservatives. We obtain our products locally and from all over the world, often from small, uniquely dedicated food artisans. We are proud to have been selected as Best Health Food Store by The Long Island Press in their annual Best Of Long Island issue.
More importantly, we strive to deliver the best customer service anywhere! From the moment you walk in the store, we're here for you. Stop by our Floral department and bring home something to soothe your soul and brighten your home. You can't beat our beautiful Produce, either. We take pride in providing only the freshest fruit and vegetables available. If we don't have it, it wasn't worth getting.
Our Grocery department prides itself on stocking both the everyday basics you need and the special items you crave. We carry a full line of natural, organic and conventional Grocery, Frozen, Dairy and Bulk products, and our 365 Everyday Value line provides top quality items at the lowest prices around!

In a rush or too tired to cook? Pick something up from our Salad Bar or Prepared Foods department, where they're always making something delicious.
If you need advice on what cheese to serve at your next soiree or bring on your next picnic, stop by our Specialty department. They also love to talk about their favorite appetizers, coffee, beer and chocolate. And speaking of favorites, whether it's a morning scone or a late-night dessert, we're always baking something fresh in our in-store ovens and our Bakery department loves to share!
Our Whole Body department carries everything you need to feel your bestfrom supplements to books, from yoga mats and DVD's to mediation CDs. Try something from our selection of cruelty-free, natural body care products, cosmetics and aromatherapy wares and see what a difference all-natural nutrition and body care can make!

Paper, Plastic or Re-usable?
- The average family accumulates 60 plastic bags in only four trips to the grocery store. According to The Wall Street Journal, the U.S. goes through 100 billion plastic shopping bags annually. (Estimated cost to retailers is $4 billion.)
- It takes more than four times as much energy to manufacture a paper bag as it does to manufacture a plastic bag.
- In 1999, 14 million trees were cut to produce the 10 billion paper grocery bags used by Americans that year alone.
- Paper bag production delivers a global warming double-whammy - forests (major absorbers of greenhouse gases) have to be cut down, and then the subsequent manufacturing of bags produces greenhouse gases.
- Look for our new Better Bag! Uses 80% port-consumer recycled content. Made from recycled plastic bottles.
