Cork N Canvas manager, Sarah Bunch will be on hand facilitating a contest for guests to paint our exclusive 2009 Beaujolais Nouveau label.

Interesting Fact:

Beaujolais nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay grapses produced in the Beaujolais region of France.  It is the most popular vin de primeur, fermented for just a few weeks then officially released for sale on the third Thursday of November. The long awaited release of each year's Beaujolais Nouveau comes at the strike of midnight on the third Thursday in November...There are about 120 festivals to honor the arrival of this enticing young wine in the Beaujolais region alone, not to mention throughout France and across the globe.  The Beaujolais wine-producing region runs from Lyons to the Basse-Bourgogne (lower Burgundy).

One of my favorite traditions is to get some new Beaujolais Nouveau wine, and put it out on the table for Thanksgiving.  It's also great to keep this light, young red wine around for Winter festivities or give them as holiday gifts!
