Whole Foods Market Supports Our Community

Whole Foods Market is a company with a conscience - we believe passionately in supporting the communities we serve. A percentage of our sales are used to benefit nonprofit organizations on a monthly basis.

Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year, a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local nonprofit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these designated days. Our 5% Days are planned far in advance and fall into themed categories, including Farms & Harvest, Environment, Hunger & Homelessness, and Back to School.

• The Irvington Family Development Center
• Jersey Animal Coalition

Donations

We support a number of local organizations within our community and vicinity. To request a donation, you may download our Donation Request Form or pick one up at the Customer Service Booth. Whole Foods Market has specific guidelines for organizations we are able to support through donations.Donations are most often made in the form of products or gift certificates. A 501c3 is needed for donation requests and in addition you must fall into one of the following categories:

Environmental Preservation
Preventative Heath Care through Nutrition
Hunger Relief
Organic Farming/Sustainable Food Resources
Education on any of the above

If you are interested in a DONATION please follow the below notes:.

• Download & review the DONATION GUIDELINES
• Download & complete the DONATION REQUEST FORM.
• Donation requests must be submitted at least 6 weeks in advance of the event.
• All forms must be submitted (501-c3 letter, donation request etc...) to be considered complete.
• Please note a Tax Exemption Form is not considered a 501-c3
