Community Giving

At Whole Foods Market we value the communities in which we do business; this is one of our Core Values! We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to foster each month. We strive to make a difference.

Charitable Giving

One way we try to help is by making donations of gift cards or our products to some of the non-profit groups in the surrounding neighborhoods. Recent recipients include the World Children's Wellness Foundation, Evergreen Habitat for Humanity, Children's Trust Fund of Vancouver and the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society.

Our everyday overstock items are donated through the Fresh Alliance program with the Oregon Food Bank, serving the greater Portland-Metro area.

Donation Request forms are available at the Customer Service Booth and should be returned to the store along with a copy of your group's 501(c)3 letter from the IRS/US Treasury at least 60 days prior to when you would expect your donation.

Change For Change Program

At the check out, guests can either receive 10 cents off their purchase, per bag, or donate it to a non-profit organization. The non-profit organizations change every three months. Currently, we are sponsoring the Columbia Springs Environmental Education Center Foundation which provides environmental education classes and outdoor activities to the community, Mt. Saint Helens Society, Humane Society of Clark County and Community Choices of Clark County. 

Our Community 5% Days are another meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

For any of our donations, a donation request form must be completed.  These forms can be found at our store!

Community Involvement

Whole Foods Market is also passionate about educating our community on the valuable products and services we offer at our location. We are available for numerous community events such as Health Fairs, Charitable causes and even lectures for your business or organization. See contact below!
