One Dime at a Time
We'll give you 10 cents for every bag you reuse to bag your groceries. It's our reward to you for being green. You can now choose to donate that dime to a local charity. We call this One Dime at a Time. It was introduced in April 2008 and has steadily grown to be a huge success.
Thank you to those that continuously choose to reuse their bags and donate their bag refund to charity!

If you want to expand your earth-friendly knowledge with other women, join an empowering and collaborative adventure through Sophie Uliano's new book, Gorgeously Green. Each week, we will have fun exploring eight simple steps to an earth-friendly life - becoming aware, home, beauty routine, shopping, fitness, eating organic, having fun and finding your green passion. For eight weeks, we will meet at Whole Foods Market, Lake Calhoun. After class, you can stick around and have lunch or complete your weekly grocery shopping. With Chef Ani and Ms. Amanda from Art-rageous Adeventures
In honor of Thanksgiving, Ms. Amanda from ARTrageous Adventures will read a Native folktale, teach a traditional song and craft while Chef Ani guides children into making a special dish for friends to share. Appropriate for ages 5-12. Pre-registration is required.
