Donations Division: The Full Equation
Since February 15th, 2009, Whole Foods Market, Lake Calhoun, donated $169,576 to local non-profit organizations.
Community Giving
Community giving at Whole Foods Market is rooted in our belief that corporations, as well as individuals, must be good tenants of the planet. We are intimately connected to the health and economy of each community we serve, and feel it is our responsibility to give back to those communities in meaningful ways. We are committed to donating at least five percent of our annual net profits to charitable causes. For us, giving back expands our passion for quality foods into the larger arena of quality of life.
Whole Foods Market Lake Calhoun has an active donations budget that is divided among local non-profit organizations every month. If your 501(c)(3) organization is interested in receiving a donation, please download the Donation Request Form or pick one up at Customer Service. All requests must be received in writing at least six (6) weeks prior to the event.
Community Support Days
Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.
