The Holidays are Coming! Stop by our Holiday Table to learn some of the "good things" we offer, taste favorites and order your feast, from a free range turkey to a delicious dinner for 8.

Look for our great fresh Fraser Firs outside, for sale coming on Saturday, November 21st. Trees are grown on local family farms in a area of the Blue Ridge Mountains where growing conditions are ideal for Fraser Firs.

    Buy One Pizza, Get Another Pizza Free

    Offer valid all day every Tuesday on pizza from our Prepared Foods Department. Free Pizza must be of equal or lesser value.

    Half Pint Treat Tuesday

    All Day Free

    Each week there will be a different department featured. See Customer Service to get a wooden token good for one treat from the featured department.Children will receive a treat from that department and an activity page from Customer Service. When they return the completed activity page with their name and age to Molly any Tuesday they will get a surprise. Children up to age 10(accompanied by an adult) may participate. Only one treat per child, per day please. 

    Due to the holiday there will be no Treat Tuesday on Tuesday before Thanksgiving, November 24th.

    noon-2:00 pm and 5:00-7:00pm Free

    See what we're sampling in our departments from noon-2:00pm and 5:00-7:00pm. We'll have live cooking demonstrations.

    Join Zeke, our demo specialist, or a member of the Seafood department, for some delicious fresh fish samples in front of Seafood and get their terrific ideas and recipes while you watch them prepare their delicacies.Come see what's fresh and fabulous!!

    Half Pints Friday (in the Cafe)

    10:30-11:30 a.m. Free

    Join Molly in the Café to register your kid/s. Kids receive a gift bag the first time they register and have a chance to pick a rubber duck for a prize every week. They get their official Half Pint Club card and use it in various departments to receive free samples every Friday between 10:30 and 11:30 am. 10:30  is story time in the Café. Join Molly for all the fun! No groups please.

    Due to the holiday, there will be no storytime or registration for Kids Club on Friday, November 20th and 27th.

    Sandwich Club

    Buy 6 and get the 7th FREE

    Try one of our delicious Prepared Foods sandwiches and/or wraps and you'll want more! Buy a sandwich or a wrap and get your sandwich club card punched for each purchase. After you've gotten 6, the 7th will be free. Try them all!

    Thanksgiving Holiday Table

    Visit our Holiday Table near the Olive Bar to pick up a menu and speak with a knowledgeable team member who can help you plan your menu.Order your all natural local free range turkeys, fresh organic turkeys, fresh brined turkeys, bone-in turkey breast, fresh kosher turkeys, or oven ready turkeys. We also have turkey dinners for 8 or dinner for 2 plus a few. Of course we have sides, gravy, rolls, appetizers, seafood platters and delicious desserts. We have vegan options available too. You can place orders through November 23rd at 6pm.

    Check out our special website www.wholefoodsmarket.com/holidays/ for all kinds of helpful information.  

    Our theme is  "All Things Good" and  our website will feature recipes and tips where customers can find great gift ideas, both to make at home and to buy in our store plus holiday menus, events, how to guides and videos and more. The holiday videos feature Hosea Rosenberg, winner of Top Chef, Season 5. Look for everything from how to make gravy and cranberry sauce to seafood and turkeys!

    You'll be able to place your holiday order online too or call 1.866.554.4WFM to speak to helpful holiday planners. They can answer your questions from 9:00am to 9pm daily through November 23rd and help you plan your Thanksgiving celebration. Of course you can call or stop by our Holiday Table near the Olive Bar.

    Easy Seafood Recipes for Thanksgiving or Anytime Cooking Class

    7:00-8:00pm in the Cafe Free

    Learn to make a spectacular seafood stuffing to accompany your fish or turkey. Ian of our Seafood department will also teach you a quick and easy appetizer seafood dip for you and guests to enjoy before the feast. Be prepared to gain seafood knowledge so you can improvise with your own creations.Recipes and samples will be available.

    Seating is limited. Please preregister at Customer Service.

    Due to the holiday kids can still use their cards when shopping with you but there will be no Storytime or new registrationsin the Cafe.

    Pick Up Pre-Orders

    8:00am-9:00pm Monday and Tuesday and 7:00am-4:00pm Wednesday

    Please stop by our Holiday Pick Up Table opposite Sushi to register and then do your shopping while we gather your order. After we get your order we will place it on the opposite side of the Pick Up station opposite Registers 1 and 2. Please see a Holiday Table Team Member there so they can review your order with you and give you your completed order and invoice.

    For your shopping convenience we will open at 7am and close at 9pm on Wednesday, November 25th and be open on Thursday, Thanksgiving  from 9am-2pm.Friday, November 27th we will open at 9am and close at 7pm. Normal hours will resume on the weekend 8am-9pm

    Join us for a sampling of Hanukkah favorites.Pick up a menu and preorder from our Prepared Foods Department to make your holiday easy and fun! Our Catering Liasion will be happy to help plan your menu. . Why make your own latkes when you can buy ours in the case? Of course if you want to make your own we'll have lots of potatoes, latke mix, sour cream, applesauce, beautiful candles, chocolate coins, candies, gifts and gift cards.     Mill Around the Mill

    5:00-8:00pm

    The merchants of Mt. Washington Mill are teaming up to make your holiday shopping experience more relaxing and enjoyable. On the first Friday of every month from 5-8 pm,  we encourage you to "mill around" the Mill. Visit all participating stores and get your mill pass stamped (passes are available in all participating stores). Leave your pass at the last store you visit and you will be automatically entered to win a gift basket (total value of $400) containing goodies from all participating merchants at the Mill. Shoppers can sip wine while browsing the selections at dogma-life, with your pet, Gore-Dean, Holly G Boutique, Home on the Harbor, Starbucks, Whole Foods Market and Mt. Washington Wine Company. Additionally, each Merchant will be offering special discounts and refreshments.

    Please join us for a sampling of wonderful holiday foods from appetizers to dessert and get easy ideas for your holiday entertaining. We can take the stress out of the holidays and help you plan. Talk to our Catering Liaison to order your beautiful party trays. Knowledgeable team members in the Specialty Department can make great suggestions or take your orders for a variety of Baked Bries en croute. Preorder in the Meat, Seafood and Bakery departments to be assured of getting exactly what you'd like.

    Special Storytime

    10:30am Free in the Cafe

    In addition to our usual Friday Half Pint activities from 10:30-11:30am please join us for a seasonal craft and story told by Lisa Bechmann, an Early Childhood teacher at the Waldorf School of Baltimore. We will sing songs and have a fun time-please join us.Child must be accompanied by an adult. No groups please.

  • Not Just Another Tee...

    Whole Body Department

    Hessnatur and Whole Foods Market present the "World in Your Hand" tee...

    The "World in Your Hand" tee is a limited edition organic tee shirt designed by fashion icon Miguel Adrover. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Hessnatur scholarship program at the Grameen Shikkha project in Bangladesh for its continued work in eradicating poverty through micro-financing. For a limited time, the tee is available in select Whole Foods Market stores.Get your t shirts at the Mt Washington store.

  • Nickels for NonProfits

    Bring your bags everytime you shop here and Whole Foods Market will give you a nickel back for each bag or a "Wooden Nickel for Nonprofits" which you can deposit in either of two slots of our Nonprofit deposit box as a donation to either of two non profits. When the box is full we'll write checks to both groups.

    You are making a difference with your nickels for nonprofits in our store. Hopewell Cancer Support and Mt Washington Pediatric Hospital Weigh Smart Program are the recipients of this program. If your local not for profit is interested please complete a donation request form at our Customer Service desk.

  • Thank You for your Support of our Last 5% Community Day

    You shopped with us and donated food to our very successful canned food drive on Wednesday, October 21st to benefit The Maryland Food Bank(MFB). We donated $4127.46 and 640 pounds of canned goods. Thanks to all for your generosity! Together with the Harbor East and Annapolis stores we were able to contribute over $12,000 and almost 1,200 pounds of food to MFB.

    Chili Cookoff

    The Team Member Chili Cookoff was a huge success on Saturday, October 17th.Thanks to Mike-Produce,  Zeke -Demo Specialist, Andrew-Specialty, Josh-Produce, Angie-Whole Body.Team members and judges from  Mt Washington Village restaurants- Edward Bloom-Ethel & Ramone's, Blake Wollman-Desert Cafe and  Mustapha Snoussi-Crepe De Jour tasted and voted for their favorite.  Mike #5 won with his Meat Chili recipe.#1 Angie's sweet potato and #3 Andrew's corn, avocado, coconut, etc tied for second.

    Mike wins a series of three lessons from Ethel & Ramone's with a dinner as a prize. Red beans and rice,gumbo, and jambalaya. Congratulations, Mike.

    $150 was raised for Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen.
