REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Reserve your space in all classes by registering and pre-paying at the Customer Service desk in the store or over the phone at (402) 393-1200. Registration for both free and fee-based classes is required.

    6:00 - 7:00 p.m. $15 per person (kids are welcome to attend; $5 per child)

    Half Pints Kid's Class: Go Green

    10:00 - 10:45 a.m. $5 per child for Whole Kids Club Members / $8 for non-members (caregivers free)

    Half Pints ages 3 to 5 are invited to scoop, pour, roll, stir or spread foods to make their own edible creations. Class is limited to 12 children and their caregivers. Younger siblings who will remain in a carrier or stroller are welcome to attend. Kids will enjoy great-tasting green food! We'll make a variety of tasty treats with a common theme - green!     Learn more about eating for health and healing with instructor John Mixan, a holistic wellness coach, trained macrobiotic cook and cancer survivor. Learn what a wellness coach does while undergoing cancer treatment and discover different healing foods and how to prepare them.

    11-11:45 am Kid's clothing and accessories

    Doing some spring cleaning and want to swap out the old for something new to you? Toys, games, books, clothes, accessories and more will be collected. No registration required - just bring your gently used kid's clothing and toys! The clothing must be clean and with no holes, rips or tears and toys must be clean and in working condition. You will be able to take home as many "new to you" clothing or toys as you bring to recycle.  Please note the specific time slots for each swap. Due to limited space, stroller use is not recommended.  All extra items will be donated to the Open Door Mission's Lydia House. You can also make a monetary donation in any amount for the Whole Planet Foundation, which provides microcredit loans to women in developing countries to help lift themselves out of poverty.

    Travel through the store as all departments join forces for one big sampling extravaganza. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day! The fun starts here as we sample traditional dishes and Irish-inspired treats!

    Whole Planet Party

    4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Free

    Join us as we support the Whole Planet Foundation, which is working to end poverty in developing world countries. We'll sample Whole Trade products since 1% of every Whole Trade product purchase is donated to the Whole Planet Foundation. Enjoy a taste of the samples for just $1 (all proceeds will be donated to the Whole Planet Foundation). And make a donation to the Whole Planet Foundation at the registers during our event and get a free prize!

    Preparing healthy and wholesome homemade meals can be intimidating - whether you're cooking for one person or many. Join caterer and chef Mimi Gross as she shares ideas for healthier, almost-ready-made meal options while demonstrating how to add your own homemade flair and preparing a delicious meal for you to try.

    Looking for some inspiration on how to cook delicious food while managing your diabetes? Join Chef Robert from our Prepared Foods team as he demonstrates how to transition to healthier meals and better control your blood sugar with a whole foods diet rich in complex carbohydrates. On the menu: whole grain breakfast cereal, harvest vegetable soup, and stir fry vegetables with chicken and walnuts.

    With our community outreach program, One Dime at a Time, you can choose to receive the $0.10 refund for each bag reused at checkout as cash back on your receipt or you can donate the refund to a designated charity. Through March, donations at our store will benefit the Whole Planet Foundation. Together, we can make a difference One Dime at a Time!

  • Need a Meeting Space?

    Are you looking for a place to hold your next meeting? Our Lifestyle Center accommodates about 20 people and features a TV that can be hooked up to your own laptop for Power Point presentations. This room is also great for small receptions, business meetings, team builds and other gatherings. Availability permitting and during store business hours, non-profit organizations can hold meetings in our Lifestyle Center for free. Community groups can also rent the classroom for a nominal fee. Please call (402) 393-1200 and ask for Marketing for information, to check availability and to make reservations.

    Our prepared Foods Team is ready to tickle your taste buds and save you time! Heat and Serve, Ready Made Meals for your microwave or conventional oven. Choose from a variety of entrees from vegetarian, seafood, pork, chicken and beef.

    We now serve hot breakfast in our Prepared Foods department, perfect for an all-natural meal on the go! Enjoy our breakfast pastries hot from the oven, delicious coffee drinks, as well as a variety of traditional breakfast fare.

Whole Foods Market offers these classes for your benefit. The information presented represents the views of the lecturer and may or may not reflect the views of Whole Foods Market. As always, you should decide what is appropriate for you and your lifestyle.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel attending a class contact customer service at (402) 393-1200. A class credit or store credit will be given if you cancel within 48 hours prior to the day of the class. Cancellations left on email or faxed to the store will not be honored. Whole Foods Market has the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or instructor illness. Whole Foods will contact you by phone regarding the cancellation and you will receive a refund.
