  Whole Planet Foundation Prosperity Campaign

  The mission of Whole Planet Foundation, a non-profit organization established by Whole Foods Market, is to create economic partnerships with the poor in those developing-world communities that supply our store with product.  Whole Planet Foundation has micro-credit loan programs targeting the self-employed poor, and these loans help purchase the raw materials for businesses, such as yarn, cotton, seeds, chickens, and pigs, among others.  The average size loan to start a small business is $150, and your donation of $1 or $5 can make a difference.  Visit www.wholeplanetfoundation.org for more information, and stop by Whole Foods Market Ponce de Leon to make your donation today!

  Come pick up groceries, dinner, or a delicious treat and support a worthy cause with your purchase.  Breast Cancer Network of Strength will be the recipient of 5% of our net sales on this day, so the more you shop, the more you give!  Their mission is to provide the only 24/7 support center staffed entirely by breast cancer survivors who are trained peer counselors.  Money from 5% Day will be used for the "A Day for You" program where they provide free clinical breast exams and breast education to women in underserved communities to increase awareness and detection.
