Cooking Class Registration Information

All cooking classes are FREE and held in our 2nd floor foyer.

To register for classes, please call our Demo Specialist Tim Hayes at 202.332.4300, email tim.hayes@wholefoods.com or stop by our Customer Service Booth.

Due to increased demand, you may only register yourself.  Please have friends and family register themselves.  Please check your calendar before signing up for class size is limited to 20 people!

    Delight your palate with Traditional favorites-Raw Living Vegan Style! Learn how to make tasty raw alternatives to classic Thanksgiving side dishes and SIMPLIFY the Holidays this year! Join us as we prepare fantastic dishes to create a healthful and vibrant holiday. This class is vegan friendly, dairy-free and gluten-free.

    Learn to whip up traditional Thanksgiving side dishes that will satisfy vegans and omnivores alike.  Delicious vegan dishes can complement a traditional meal or just stand alone.  Join us for a tasting of vegan, heart-healthy and high nutrition profile side dishes to complement your holiday feast. This class is vegan friendly, dairy-free and gluten-free.

    "Here We Grow" Film Screening

     7:00PM  @ AFI Silver Theatre

                         Silver Spring, MD

    Via interviews with experts and heartwarming stories of everyday people, Craig explores the current state of our food and our food supply chain. The documentary also educates everyone on the pandemic expansion of dangerous chemicals that were introduced into food seeds and crop soils at an alarming rate over the last 40 years. A portion of all money collected goes to Chef Ann Cooper's Healthy School Lunch Program.

    Washington Humane Society Adoption Event

    12:00PM-3:30PM

    The Washington Humane Society is the oldest animal protection agency in Washington, D.C. Since 1870, WHS has served homeless, lost, and abused animals in the District of Columbia; providing protection from cruelty, shelter from the elements, and a second chance at a loving home. No call for help goes unanswered, and no animal is ever turned away. WHS also focuses on preventing suffering through education; spay/neuter campaigns and diligently enforcing the District's anti-cruelty laws.
