Community Giving

The Raleigh Whole Foods Market is proud to be a member of both the Raleigh and Cary Chamber of Commerce. We have been recognized by both the Mayor's Committee for Disabled Individuals and the Autism Society as Employer of the Year. We strive to be a strong community leader through our donations and involvement in community events.

Here are some of the ways we can support your organization:

Community 5% Days
On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

Selected organizations get to share their cause with the public by maintaining a booth with a representative from the organization throughout the entire day. This is a great way for an organization to increase funds and gain exposure. If your non-profit organization is interested in applying for a 5% Day, please fill out the application form and either return it to our customer service desk or fax back to the attention of Nancy Halberstadt, 828-5825.

Community Spotlight
Each month, we shine our spotlight on a different non-profit organization. The featured organization gets to display information on the bulletin board in the exit airlock and also gets to collect donations at each register in the collection boxes provided. This is the best way to get exposure and not too shabby of a way to raise money. If your non-profit organization is interested in being considered as a Community Spotlight, please submit a Donation Request Form and specify that you would like to be considered for the community spotlight. Drop off at the customer service desk or fax back to the attention of Nancy Halberstadt, 828-5825.

Donations
The Raleigh Whole Foods Market is happy to provide donations to many nonprofit groups in our immediate area through non-monetary donations (gift baskets, gift cards, cases of water or produce, and catering trays). This is great for non-profit organizations that need items for fundraising or are having a fundraising event. If your non-profit organization needs a non-monetary donation, please fill out the Donation Request Form and either drop off at the customer service desk or fax back to the attention of Nancy Halberstadt, 828-5825. All requests must be accompanied with your Federal 501-C letter.

Community Events
We are happy to partner in large community events. Please contact Elizabeth Beal, 828.5805 for more information.
