  • Kids Camp!

    Make summer a fun way for your kids to focus on delicious healthful eating and fending for themselves in the kitchen. A unique "camp" experience for both boys and girls. They just might serve you dinner in the near future.
    • Good cooking develops better nutritional choices
    • Cooking and baking involves math skills
    • Completing simple to intermediate tasks builds self-esteem

    • Expand your kid's dining horizons
    • Science in the kitchen with cool experiments
    • Introduction to International flavors and exploration of cultures
    • Learn how food is grown and where it comes from with a seed to table philosophy
    • Learn to use kitchen tools and gadgets safely
    • An emphasis on local organic produce, whole grains, seafood and poultry
    This summer kids and teens can tie on an apron and take over the kitchen at Salud! Students will take a world culinary tour and create a mix of dishes from popular cuisines and sit down to enjoy their delicious meals each day. They'll have tons of fun and leave with the confidence to make flavorful meals and snacks at home for family and friends, using the highest quality, freshest, all-natural ingredients,

    Students work hands-on with our experienced instructor to learn valuable cooking skills while making authentic recipes from around the world.

    Kids and teens will grasp many of the fundamentals of great cooking and develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

    Instruction is specially tailored for your child's age group. Classes are limited to 8 students.

    Sous Chefs

    Ages 3-5 with Parent (a parent must accompany child in this class)

    The weather is shaping up and so are we! Today stop in and sample healthy recipes from each department aimed to have you eating and feeling great. Treat yourself to samples from our favorite healthy vendors, discovering new treats and better ways to treat your body. Joining us in in this event are Zen Rock Fitness of Redmond, Healthy Lifestyle Consultant Wendy Schnitzer, Nutritionist Dr. Tim Gerstmar, and The Green Car Company of Bellevue.

    Calling all oyster lovers! Join us for Half Shell Happy Hour. Sate your desires with a variety of local oysters, and if you're squeamish, try Seafood Team Leader Charley's Oyster Rockefeller- it has a dedicated following.

    Welcome to Redmond's Supper Club, a monthly event designed to tickle your taste buds and engage your senses. Tonight's three course meal:

    First Course:

    Ancho Spiced Jumbo Prawns with an Heirloom Tomato Gazpacho

    Fire Roasted Poblano stuffed with Grilled Summer Vegetables, Sweet Potato, and Chevre  V

    Second Course:

    Shitake Mushroom and Bulgur Stuffed Cabbage in a Light Tomato Broth  V

    Texas Style Pork Tenderloin brushed with an Agave and Coffee BBQ Sauce accompanied by Chayote Slaw and Cumin Grilled Sweet Potato

    Dessert:

    Grilled Peaches with Cinnamon Scented Shortbread and Mascarpone Cheese

Store Tours

Did you know that Whole Foods Market offers free store tours? We have tours available for students, Brownies, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Newcomer groups, men & women's groups...Everyone. Our tours are educational and fun. On your tour, you will learn why Whole Foods Market is so unique. You will learn about natural and organic foods and also get to taste many items throughout the store. Class and Registration Information

To Register for a Class
Please contact Customer Service at 425.881.2600 ext 3 and ask to register for a class in Salud! Seating and enrollment are on a first-come, first-served basis. To guarantee your place in a class, payment must be received when you enroll. If a class is sold out, please call 425.881.2600 to be placed on our waiting list. With some exceptions, registration closes 48 hours prior to class. Payment is made at the time of registration.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel a class, please contact Customer Service at 425.881.2600 and let them know the date and name of the class you wish to cancel. Please note that refunds cannot be given for no-shows or cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to a class. Although we make every effort to avoid changes to our class schedule, Salud! reserves the right to cancel any class due to low registration or substitute instructors in case of an emergency. You will be contacted by phone regarding the cancellation. You will receive a full credit or refund for the class.

Classes are limited to 12 registered students. Classes for Children are limited to 10 children between the ages of 4 and 10. Classes for tweens and teens are noted in the calendar listing.
