  Raw, Fit and Fabulous: A raw foods cooking demonstration and sampling.

  6:00pm - 7:30pm $15.00

  Come to the Culinary Center for a demonstration and sampling on healthier alternatives to your traditional favorite foods. We'll showcase our locally-grown produce choices and put together a colorful, creative menu of:

  • Heavenly Soup
  • Amazing Kale Salad
  • Savory Onion Bread
  • and a Lagniappe to top things off.

  Whole Kids Club Activity! Bread Baking

  1:30pm - 2:30pm $5

  

  This is a fun event open to all kids where participants are given their very own bread loaf to shape, decorate and then bake.  While the bread bakes, learn about the different departments in our store and try delicious samples too!

  Lunch and Learn

  Noon - 1:00pm Free (participants are responsible for their own lunch)

  Take a break, grab a bite to eat and come to the Culinary Center to spend your lunch hour learning and discussing healthy, nutritious eating for the whole family!

  Couples in the Kitchen: Mexican Fiesta

  6:00 pm - 8:00 pm $90.00 per couple

  Tired of the same old restaurants? Take your date night to a new level as you share an appetite for food and fun in the kitchen with your significant other. Our staff will show you how to share the kitchen and create tantalizing, romantic meals together.

  • Grilled Corn with Cilantro-Lime Butter and Cotija Cheese
  • Shrimp-Stuffed Poblanos with Walnut and Crema Sauce
  • Cilantro Rice Pilaf

  Meet the Ranchers Demonstration: Panorama Meats

  Noon - 3:00pm FREE

  Have you ever wondered where your meat came from?  Visit the Meat Department and meet Ranchers from Panorama Organic Grass-Fed Beef; they will also be giving out tasty samples from Panorama featuring a bigger, beefier flavor than conventionally raised, grass-fed beef.

  The Nutrition Detectives Series #3.  Bring the kids into the culinary center for a fun, interactive lesson that teaches kids to make healthy choices in the grocery store. Nutrition Detectives is a fun program for children, and also offers a chance to improve the nutrition, and health, of your whole family. This month focus on choosing healthy juices, waters, and snack foods. Open to all kids!!! Please reserve your spot at the customer service counter.
