Our Community 5% Days are another meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days. If you would like to apply for a grant for our 5% Day, you can request an application from our Guest Service desk. Once you have completed the entire grant process, return it to the store for consideration.

Community Chest
The Community Chest offers our guests a chance to give back to the community. When you reuse your own bag, you can take a bag discount or donate the 10 cents to a local organization.

If you are interested in becoming a recipient of the Community Chest, request a community chest application form from our Guest Services desk. All applications are kept & considered for one year.

All requests must meet all of the following criteria: the organization involves our local community, must be a not for profit organization, & the request must provide a direct services to one or more of the following: environmental preservation, preventative health care, hunger relief, organic farming, animal compassion, community, and education in these target areas.
