Did you know?
For every reusable bag you bring into Whole Foods Market, you receive a nickel off your total bill.
Now, you can donate that nickel to a great local nonprofit. We've chosen two fantastic local organizations that serve our community. The Montgomery County SPCA is an all-volunteer organization that supports neglected and homeless animals in our county. The Montgomery Hospice is a non-profit organization providing quality end-of-life care for patients and families.
This small amount of change results in big changes over time. Thank you for supporting our micro-fundraising efforts here at Whole Foods Market.

After-School Arts Class with Vis Arts

Moms can shop while the kids paint, cut, color and create. Through our ongoing commitment to support community arts organizations, we are happy to welcome this class thanks to the Metropolitan Center for Visual Arts. It's a great opportunity for the kids to make new friends, explore their creative side and have fun.

Half Pint Club is back in Rockville!
Join musician and teacher Celia as she leads our class in arts and crafts, sing-a-long, and snack time. Half Pint Club will be every third Tuesday, so mark your calendars. Celia is a veteran Whole Foods Market teacher, with seven stores in the metro area. Due to space limitations, you must sign up in Customer Service. Class limit 15 people. Please call 301-984-4880.

5% CommUnity Support Day

Shop any of our 4 Montgomery County stores (Bethesda, Kentlands, Rockville, Silver Spring) and 5% of the day's net sales will be donated to Neighbors in Need. The Community Foundation's Neighbors in Need Fund is a grant-making fund supporting effective nonprofit organizations in the Greater Washington, DC region that provide "safety net" services such as food, clothing and shelter. Today's donation will be specifically directed towards hunger relief efforts in Montgomery County. Through an anonymous donor, all funds raised will be matched-doubling our community outreach efforts! Each store in DC, Maryland and Virginia will be raising money for hunger relief. If you cannot shop in Montgomery County, please consider shopping in another DC Metro store!
The day will also include a canned food drive to support Manna Food Center.
