CommUnity Day Applications For 2010

Whole Foods Market, Santa Fe hosts a number of CommUnity Days throughout the year. Local, non-profit community organizations may apply for a CommUnity Day and the selected organizations will receive a portion of the day's sales. Please pick up a CommUnity Day Application form at the Customer Service Desk in the store and return the completed form no later than Saturday, November 28, 2009.

• During November

  Wine Tasting in our Specialty Wine Department

  Free

  Please join us throughout the month of November to sample some truly great and reasonably priced wines for Thanksgiving and the holidays.

• Every Wednesday and Friday in November

  Rotisserie Chickens on Wednesdays and Fresh Hot Pizza Specials on Fridays

  Be sure to pick up a delicious rotisserie chicken on Wednesdays at $6.99 per chicken. On Fridays, a large 16 inch cheese pizza is only $8.99 from our Pizza Station. Enjoy this great deal during October. A wide assortment of fresh toppings are also available for an additional cost. Make Fridays pizza night.

  Grab and Give Program

  During this holiday season, we invite our customers to join in supporting our local community by ensuring that families in need have access to a healthy meal. Three different meal coupons, valued at $5 for breakfast, $10 for lunch and $10 for dinner, can be purchased at each register. Whole Foods Market will purchase food in each category, which will be donated to: The Food Depot, The Esperanza Shelter for Battered Families and the Mayor's Holiday Food Drive. This program is designed to promote the giving of good natural food products to our most needy families. Together we can make a difference in the lives of many hungry people in our community.

  Various hours posted at the Table

  Stop by our Holiday Table to order a fresh Diestel Farms organic or American Heirloom organic turkey. We will also have natural turkeys, hams, vegetarian roasts or entire traditional Thanksgiving Dinners with all the fixings! Don't forget to order a great antipasto platter, sparkling seafood tray or holiday pies.   CommUnity Day for the Esperanza Shelter for Battered Families

  The Esperanza Shelter for Battered Families is a safe haven for troubled families suffering from domestic violence and abuse. In addition to providing shelter, Esperanza assists with food and other basic needs to help families get back on their feet. Please support this great organization by shopping our store. A percentage of the day's sales will be donated to support this program.

• Friday, November 20th

  CommUnity Day for the Food Depot

  The Food Depot is the largest food bank in northern New Mexico, which provides food to needy families. Please support this great organization by shopping our store. A percentage of the day's sales will be donated to support this program.

• Tuesday, November 24th

  MIDNIGHT MADNESS SALE

  10 pm until 2 am

  The store will be open from 7 am through 2 am for stress-free shopping. Additional holiday sales will be offered from 10 pm through 2 am. Celebrate with us and enjoy the savings throughout the store.

  To help celebrate the holidays, Whole Foods Market is offering a 20% off wine sale for twelve or more bottles. Mix and match your selection. Ask Kent in our wine department to suggest great wines at great savings.

• December 4th, 5th and 6th

  Store Anniversary: Celebrating 10 Years as a Partner in our Community

  We are celebrating 10 years as a partner in our community, supporting our local vendors, donating to non-profit community organizations and providing the highest quality food for our customers. We have invited local vendors, who will be sampling their products throughout the weekend. We will have live music, an anniversary cake, coffee, and great food prepared by our catering department. We invite our local vendors, community groups and customers to sign our giant 10 Year Anniversary Card. Come celebrate our 10 years as a business partner committed to our community and our environment.
